This thing works like a boss! Anything defrosts on this in about 1/10 of the normal time. Highly recommend

I buy a lot of gizmos and gadgets and I was shocked at how amazing this product works. Highly recommend. We no longer have to try to determine what we want for dinner first thing in the morning so we can lay food out to thaw all day. Now we can wait till dinner, give it 30 to 45 minutes and the meat is ready though. Amazing piece of ingenuity.

Thaws frozen food great and keeps food cold while defrosting.

Works as it should. I just wish it thawed a little faster.

I havent even used this yet but just handling it you know its well made. This works effectively as a heat sink where it draws the cold away. Other comments mention it losing its finish a bit after dishwashing, this is a brushed and anodized aluminum piece... it warns to not put in the dishwasher. Hand wash it as you would a cutting board etc. I cant imagine having any issue with this, my one and only wish would be that it could serve to be a bit larger so you can fit a couple 1-1.5 lb tbone steaks on it at the same time etc.

This product is absolutely amazing. I would leave the house for the day and when I returned an hour before dinner and realized that I hadn’t taken anything out for the freezer for dinner. Pulled this item out of the cabinet and put the meat on it, and amazingly it is ready for cooking in an hour or so I’ve had it for quite an long time and it still hurts like it was brand new

it works, but doesn't meet up to expectations. It had a beautiful shiny stainless steel look when it came out of the box. Although it is supposed to be dishwasher safe, it lost all shine and is splotchy after first time in washer. I almost sent it back, but it does reduce thawing time. Also, it was 3 times more expensive than the black thawing boards I have used for years and will buy in the future. Even those, after long time use and washings, do tend to have the black coating start to chip off.

I often forget to defrost meat for dinner that day...and I hate the microwave defrosting. It's uneven and tends to cook corners. Today, I got out a package of two 1/2 inch thick pork chops and put them on the defrost tray. One end of one chop was frozen curled up and didn't touch the tray, but the rest did. 90 minutes later, they were completely defrosted. They might have been done sooner, but I left the house and didn't get back to check for that long, so it's a win for me. The next test will be chicken, and I'm not sure how hamburger will work, but on flat cuts of meat, it does a good job.
