LEGO 6177 Basic Bricks Deluxe

Lego is a good product so there is no more to say on that. This particular set of pieces is reasonable although there isn't really that much in the box. The mixture of colours is good but keep in mind that if you want to create a red house or whatever, then there aren't enough pieces of each individual colour to make much (if that makes sense). I bought two boxes. Lego is excellent but expensive for what it is.

At last a set of basic lego...all very well having these super sets of specific themes but what the kids (and adults ..) need is the basic bricks to use their own imagination..... My grandson..a lego master at the age of 8..!.... loved it and the selection of shapes , sizes and colours were great... Excellent buy..Thank you !

Lego is always a great item to have, as I'm sure we have all experienced. This box provides all the basic essentials needed to stock up your Lego collection. I do think as others have said that Lego is expensive, but looking around, this is about the lowest price for this specific item. Delivery was within reasonable time and packaged good.

Good set and exactly what we wanted so as to add to collection. It is getting increasingly hard to obtain simple brick sets as most lego nowadays is in kit forms which limits creativity. These remind me of many childhood days making forts and spaceships from my own designs, this is not possible with Harry Potter or Star Wars kits that just gove you instructions and many pieces that can only be used for that design. These should be more readilly available but unfortunately are not. Bring back the bricks.....

I ordered them on 11th December for a xmas present, nearly 8 weeks later still nothing, i couldnt track them, emailed amazon who helped me track on DPD still nothing, then i found out they got to England on 8/01/2014.I emailed DPD and emailed amazon about this several times, that was when i found out that some of my paperwork was missing so the Bricks where sent back to Italy on 8/01/2014. I was not happy at all, i emailed amazon again and they where very apologetic to me about what had happened. In the end i cancelled them as waiting this long had just been to frustrating, upsetting , and very angry about the whole thing, If you work in a big company that posted parcels anywhere in the world surly you would make sure that all paperwork and anything else needed to get the parcel where it should be as its that companies reputation on the line, and for me i will never buy from them again, As the company was quiet happy to take my money, i did get the amount back for the Bricks ........

If you or your children are just getting into Lego then I would strongly reccomend you start with this. Loads of standard pieces that can be used to make houses, people, monsters etc etc etc etc. Gives it loads of lastability unlike perhaps some of the sets where you can only really make one thing. Hadn't played Lego for years until I got this for my daughter at Xmas, it's still as much fun as it always was, great present and very resonably priced.

I looked on Amazon for ages to buy this at the right price and as soon as it was delivered it was advertised for £7 cheaper on amazon. this is really annoying - it couldnt be returned as I would have to pay for returns and this would remove the money i woul dsave doing so.

After my five year old daughter asked for Lego for her birthday, she was given Lego Friends sets and after they sat languishing I asked why. With a forelorn little face she said she just wanted to build "what she wanted" but didn't have enough bricks. Sure enough the "sets" give a prescribed amount of bricks and so she didn't have enough for free play and creativity. With her birthday money she bought this box of bricks as it was fantastic value. She's now got plenty of bricks in a variety of sizes and colours. Compared to a lot of Lego this set offered really good value for the amount of bricks that you get.

Es un regalo estupendo. Mis hijos se lo pasan en grande. Además, en cualquier cupleaños que nos invitan les regarlos el pack de piezas + ruedas + puertas y ventanas y siempre es un éxisto. Los niños están encantados.

Personalmente me gustan más las cajas en las que simplemente vienen piezas para hacer lo que diga la imaginación, que aquellas para hacer, con gran detalle, un sólo (o unos pocos) modelos. En este formato el precio se reduce y el número de piezas y las opciones de diversión y creatividad aumentan. El número, tipo y color de las piezas es muy adecuado y niños y no tan niños encuentran material para hacer infinidad de modelos.

Cette boite de lego est une bonne base à avoir. Beaucoup de pièces petites mais pas mal. Moins cher qu'en magasin.

As shown - which I was concerned about due to the Japanese origin. I am thrilled because I wanted my child to build using her imagination and not an instruction book, and she has issues with taking her other models apart to play. Exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price.

Als Starterset in Verbindung mit einer Platte, Fenster-Türen und Dachziegel absolut geeignet. Man muss allerdings in "Lego-Maßstäben" denken, d.h. man wird mit dem Set nicht den Reichstag nachbauen können, wohl aber in Verbindung mit den anderen genannten Sets ein paar kleine Häuser oder Figuren. Ich habe es geschafft mit dem Set 6x Häuser von jeweils ca. 10x8 Steinen Grundfäche bauen zu können und diese auch mit Dächern, Fenstern und Türen zu versehen. Preis recht hoch - dafür bekommt man aber die top Qualität die man von Lego kennt. Die Steine überleben sicher auch einen Atomschlag. Bin sehr zufrieden.
