Great 19" rackmount switch – Silent and Reliable!
Perfect fit for my 19-inch Tecmojo cabinet. It’s completely silent (fanless) and the metal build feels very solid. It comes with rackmount ears and screws in the box, so installation was easy. Getting full gigabit speeds across the house with no issues. Highly recommend for any home server setup!

Excellent product at a great price
This is an excellent quality product at an unbelievably cheap price - it is well constructed, runs silently as there's no fan in the case, and has given me a noticable increase in speed from the older switch which I was using previously. The included brackets can be used to mount it in a rack, but I have been able to use them to neatly attach the switch to the wall. Another plus point is that there is no "brick" power supply, just a neat mains kettle lead to plug into the back. A simple, plug in and forget bit of kit, which is just what you want from a switch, quietly and reliably getting on with the task it's made for. Highly recommended.

what could possibly be better than this? Brilliant
I bought this 16 Port switch to connect up my growing connected home, which was previously lashed together with two basic 4 port 10/100 mbps switches. I have connected up a BT Home Hub v3 (also acts as a WiFi access point), Microsoft Windows Media Centre, Xbox360, Freesat Box with BBC iPlayer, Five additional Ethernet ports in other rooms, and a second Wifi Access Point (TP-Link TL-WA701ND 150Mbps Wireless Lite N Access Point ) = 10 Ports used in Total. All plug and Play. As I have two wireless access points I just had to make the TP-Link access point get its ip address from the BT Home Hub's DHCP server so that ip addresses were not duplicated. The TP-Link 16 Port Switch has a solid metal casing that gives it a feel of huge quality compared with the plastic casing on the TP-Link WiFi access point BUT both products work very well indeed and are priced very well.

Well made - trouble free
Product arrived promptly - installed easily into the rack with provided fittings, integrated power supply meant that it was easy to plug in and didn't obscure other sockets with a giant plug transformer. turned it on plugged everything in and it worked - looks much neater and tidier than the three 4 port switches it replaced. Would definitely recommend and buy again when I need more ports.

Solid and reliable
Looking for a reliable unit to provide port expansion I chose this unit over the Netgear equivalent because of previous experience of TP-Link equipment and I have not been disappointed. Literally plug and play, mains power directly to the switch, no wall wart power supply to deal with, it comes complete with rack mounting plates, which, in my case, I have used, but could just as easily be used in a desktop format and, due to its metal casing, is heavy enough not to slide about. Operationally it works very well, adjusting the port speed to the equipment it is connected to automatically, and the energy saving feature is a nice touch. There is a perceived increase in file transfer speeds against the switch it replaced. I have this switch running 24/7 and so far not a problem of any kind. Fit and forget definitely describes this switch.

16 Ports and not sailor in sight
I bought this TP-Link 16-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch, Rack-Mount/Desktop, Steel Case, because I have a lot of devices that need a fast and reliable internet connection. This switch is amazing. It has 16 ports, which can support up to 16 devices at the same time. It also has a gigabit speed, which means it can transfer data at up to 1000 Mbps. It is the ultimate internet accessory. This switch is perfect for any setup, whether it is rack-mounted or desktop. It is very easy to install and use, and it has a steel case, which makes it durable and sturdy. It also has a fanless design, which makes it quiet and cool. It is very sleek and modern, and it looks great in any room. This product is a lifesaver. It has improved my internet experience, and it has made me more productive and happy. I would give it 5 stars and a smiley face. It is the best ethernet switch ever. If you want to have a fast and reliable internet connection, you need this product. Trust me, it's a switch you won't regret.

looks the business, and works the business too
Very professional looking piece of kit. built out of metal casing, and is as big as one of those rack computers themselves. The power cord is a standard PC power cord, and plugs right into the case (this means the power supply is inside the case). I also have the 5 and 8 port versions, which are made of plastic casing, and the power supply is inside the plug itself. This means the 24 port version looks very sturdy and professional, whereas the 5/8 port versions look more flimsy. Having said that, they all work flawlessly, unlike the ZyXel, which costs more and blows up only after half an hour's use (I did have a replacement from EBuyer, which seems to work without any further problem so far).

Not much smarts, its simply a fast, dumb switch. Nice durable case. Built-in power supply, and uses a (included) plain utility plug. I had intended to buy the next model up which would have some smarts. Plug this in, it switches.
