I set it for a 4 month countdown. It worked. It sat in a drawer for 2 months. I got it back out, tried to reset it for a new countdown and it just started clicking and doing this blinking thing. Put new batteries in, didn't fix the issue. Tried looking up solutions on instructions, found none. So, I'd like to know if this was supposed to be a 1 time use countdown timer? Or if mine is broken? I'd like an exchange if it's an option.

It's surprising that currently, there isn't a bigger size selection of these personal event day countdown timers on Amazon. The huge ones appear to be designed for commercial use, and are crazy expensive. The "Day" ,"Hr"... Numerals on this model are about 1" tall which while not tiny, are certainly low key, depending on how much you want to broadcast the upcoming event. Setting it up is pretty straightforward. Aside from wishing they offered a bigger size, my only reservations are: My unit appears to be new, but it was already running, so I don't know how long the batteries will last. The magnets are indeed relatively weak - if you put this on a smooth surface, there's a good chance it could slide. Luckily, my fridge has a textured surface. :)

Extremely disappointed, straight out of the box it was already ticking faster than it should. 60s in about 58s, I don’t want to imagine how far off it would be even in a few weeks. Expected a year long timer, didn’t even last 10 mins. Will be returning.
