Thanks** A: No, it's plain ol' beta-cyclodextrin. 2-hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin is much more soluble, but otherwise has very similar properties for absorbing compounds. You order the hydroxypropyl version on Ebay. **Q: What is used for?** A: I was in kidney failure and read all I could on the subject. It seemed to work quickly and my kidneys are 100% now. Can't credit it all on this product though. I discovered an even simpler, cheaper method. Baking soda like in your kitchen, or baking soda capsules, can also fix the kidneys.
