Ester-C Vitamin C 1000 mg Coated Tablets, Immune System Booster, Stomach-Friendly Supplement, 120 Count

It took many years for me to finally find a immune support supplement this good! I take 1 daily. EVERY DAY! I have auto immune diseases and am disabled. Finding the right combination of OTC protects to help support my weak immune system has been difficult. This product actually works! Stomach friendly. And alrhough it is a bit large and thick. It has no taste and it oretty easy to swallow down with enough water. Best OTC option to support your entire immune system. I knkw it says “upper respiratory”. But it covers everything.

This is the best vitamin C I drink because its good for my stomach. I had the stomach surgery and it is non acidic and it helps especially since I have a history of ulcers and anything I can do to help is better than taking a cheaper generic brand of vitamin C. Its smooth to take and it works. Also a tip that I found which is irrelivent but it works for me. I get cold sores. But I don't have break outs any more and don't get them as I use to ALL the time. Maybe once every 3 years. When I feel one coming on. That tingling feeling. Take 1000 mg vitamin C in morning 1 1000mg Lysine and at night take 1000 mg of vitamin C and 1000mg Lysine. I know its a lot. Your body will extract it (don't forget to drink water) and watch youll feel the tingle a bit might see a bit red in the spot the soar will come out but it will never FULLY come out and show the world look at my face. It really works. I got other remedies that works great. Home remedies that I have tried on my own. I passed this to a friend of mine and tried it and couldn't believe it worked. Always keep vitamin c and Lysine on hand. Youll notice in the vitamin aisle lysine is always empty. Ask yourself why......maybe they know the trick. But it works. I tried all the other remedies. This one really works. My mom suffers from them a lot and does this and never has a break out. Especially in the line of work she don't want it to show. But this vitamin C is good for your stomach and dissolves fast. My levels (blood) always come back good. SO yes its worth it. I use to buy at Costco a BIGGER bottle cheaper price but they will not carry no more. So this is the best price I found on the net. :) Hope this helps.

I have used Ester C for many years and I love it for the ability to not upset my stomach, but give me the daily does of Vitamin C I like to take. Caution- these pills are very large so if you have issues with swallowing larger pills, this is not the one for you, stick to the 500mg tablets.

Good vitamin c

Everytime I feel like I’m getting sick or feeling a cold coming on, I take one of these and my symptoms are gone by next morning. This has worked EVERY single time I’ve used it for years. However it is a pretty big pill so its hard to swallow and doesn’t taste the best. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Miracle Vitamin C!!

I can't say how well they work. But they don't taste like vitamin c, that doesn't mean they're not, it just doesn't taste like it. They don't have any smell. They does taste sweet at all and there doesn't appear to be any sugar in them. It says take with a meal so I assume it could cause stomach upset. But the pills are so big. It is really hard to swallow them. I broke it in half and tried to swallow it and couldn't do it. And I can take several pills at one time when I take my vitamins in the morning. So that's saying something. I believe they can be chewed and so that's what I'm going to do from now on. They don't taste good but they don't taste. Absolutely horrible and they don't burn your mouth or anything.

Tablets are a little bigger than your average 1000mg tablet of vitamin C, so just be aware this tablet size might not be for everyone. I'm 38, and even I find it a little intimidating to swallow one of these pills whole, so I can only imagine what it might feel like for someone older. Still, so long as the tablet is intact, the outer coating slimes over when wet, which makes it almost impossible to choke on. Taste wise, there is no taste issue. It does taste a little more chalky than ascrobic-based vitamin C, but I wouldn't say it's repulsive or odd. Just chalky (blame it on the 8% calcium content). No upset stomach issues for me, and I'm on the sensitive side. Just maybe don't consume it on an empty stomach. For size reference, a 1000mg tablet of Ester-C is shown next to a 1000mg of a Kirkland-brand ascorbic-based vitamin C.
