Fit and nicely mold to different areas of the body and do a good long-lasting job of easing pains. So comfortable you cannot feel it is there. Totally flat to lie directly on it for sleep. Smooth and invisible appearance under clothing -- or if on exposed site it is unnoticeable since it is skin-colored (unless your skin is very dark). Some might object to fragrance, but I like it and find it soothing myself.Only thing I would caution about is using on sensitive area ... I placed it on achy spot underarm, and it stung -- perhaps I had failed to thoroughly clean off all antiperspirant first. Since then, I have been careful to use these patches only on clean dry non-sensitive areas.

For tight and painful large muscles this is the ticket. Don't know why Salonpas seems so much better than its competitors but I'll take it at face value. The price at Amazon is half that of the retail drug stores. This is a must have for anyone who exercises regularly and needs a little help with sore and tight muscles.
