Relaxer for Grey No-lye Kit, 1count

When I initially bought the Gentle Treatment Relaxer for Grey hair, I have to admit, I was so skeptical. As I went through many bad experiences and phases when I decided to no longer dye my hair and embrace the grey/white that I have. I will spare you the details of my ordeal with the transition to my grey/white hair as I surely know many of you have too. I just used the Gentle Treatment Relaxer for Grey hair this morning, April 15, 2023, and I was amazed and happily surprised by the results. I followed the steps as instructed and my hair is soft with brilliance and most importantly: MY HAIR IS GREY/WHITE as promised by the product, all yellow/green tints are out. They even got greyer/whiter if I may say. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I took this to my hair salon and the stylist said she had never seen a product that worked this well. She shared the product name with other stylists in the salon and suggested that maybe they could recommend it to their customers. My hair is soft and straight and the best part is "No Lye".

Despite media information advising that relaxers for African American hair has been [allegedly] responsible for cancer, I continue to use this brand. As a senior woman who prefers straight vs curly hair, and in using this product for years, I will continue to use. The product has been gentle on my scalp and no issues to report. My only problem is the difficulty of finding it in stores.

My first grey hair showed up when I was a teenager. Decided to stop coloring my hair a few months ago and realized I needed new products to cultivate the grey hair. Needed to changed my relaxer. Tried this for the first time and I see the difference. My hair is moisturized, shining and not yellow/dull. I will be using moving forward. Thanks for all those that left a review. It gave me the confidence to try.

I selected this because it was for gray hair. I knew there was a risk because the directions said there was a possibility of hair getting a yellow color. They even provided a product to get the yellow out. My gray hair turned a bright shade of yellow. The product to use for this wasn’t enough. It has taken weeks of clarifying shampoo, purple shampoo and countless hair masks to get most of the yellow out and make sure my hair wasn’t too damaged. I have fine hair - this was not a pleasant experience!

I have not permed my hair in 2 years, I decided to stop coloring it and embrace the gray :) I was a little scared to perm because my hair has changed textured over the years and is a little brittle and thinned out. I still have more hair than the average bear. That being said, the perm worked like a charm, my hair is shiny, straight, did not break off, little shedding. No yellowing of the gray, did not impact the existing color in my hair. I dont blow dry my hair or flat iron, I wash it, wrap it in a bun and let it dry and there you have it, shiny hair with some wave. Im hooked, best boxed perm ever (and I have tried several and the salon),
