It is easy for one person to put on themselves and wear while walking. It stayed cold for about 35-45 minutes and longer if it isn’t a hot day. It worked really well and stayed in place. It wasn’t too heavy or put pressure on the incision. It was flexible and durable, though I didn’t put it through anything other than walking and resting. The size was perfect for her. She is 5’4 and 125 pounds. Highly recommend.

I had hip replacement surgery and I knew that no ice packs that we had on hand would do the job. So I ordered this one. But I used it as a flat ice pack, and it worked well since I had an anterior replacement. It has velcro straps, but there is NO WAY that I could figure out how to make it work. So I was half happy. It did help me with my recovery but if I had to use it as it is shown in the picture, I would have been totally out of luck, For that reason, I was disappointed. Now I am trying to decide whether or not I should save the velcro straps!
