Carson Magic Regular Strength Shaving Powder, 5 oz

I'm a white female with dark coarse hair and sensitive skin (razor burn and ingrown hair!!) Veet burns, and given the current covid-19 I cannot get a wax so I heard about this and thought... Let's try it! I had last shaved 3 weeks prior so my leg hair was pretty long! I mixed 2 heaped tablespoons, adding water a little at a time until I got a yoghurt like consistency, then using a shaving brush, applied it over both full legs (I'm 5'10) and my bikini area, set the timer for 8 minutes, then hopped in the shower and rubbed it off using a flannel. 99.9% of the hair fell off (I am especially impressed with my bikini area!) There was a few hairs which didn't go but I noticed some of them continued to come off during the day, and the rest I ran over with my epilator. Now... The smell... At first I thought "huh, not to bad" .. but it gets worse, and it LINGERS... Rotten eggs.... I applied it with the window open, and it didn't help. However I've found that if you soak the items used to apply this stuff with household bleach, that kills the smell, but I didn't do this quick enough, so next time as I'm waiting for it to work it's magic I'm going to wash everything in bleach! Summary; fabulous at removing hair, I have no rash/itching/bumps. The smell is horrendous, but for 2 heaped tablespoons to do both legs and bikini with no effects I'm prepared to suffer through it. I'll update on how long it takes my hair to grow back Edit: it has taken 8 days for the stubble to grow enough to be visible, but no itching or ingrown hairs and it feels a bit softer than the stubble I normally get from shaving

The item arrived the same way as described on the Amazon website. The products also wealth the amount charged for it compared to the same products on sale at other website. Good for money.

Smells so bad I only used it once. The rest has gone in the bin. It did remove the hair well but not worth the extremely strong eggy smell

Oh it works amazingly but it absolutely stinks. my whole house smelt like rotten eggs and I had to do a deep clean to get rid of the smell. at least my legs were smooth for 3 weeks

As a girl who is prone to ingrown hairs and has struggled with itching and irritation down south post shaving with razors, this product has unironically changed my life. Smooth and simple application, unbelievable results and as the hair grows back there is literally no irritation. it’s genuinely insane and i’m so happy

It’s really good great value for money, only think is it smells bad, I am made go out to the back patio to use it. Would not be without now.

It isn't as effective as I hoped (as advertized) and it STINKS. My fella tried to ban me from using it as it smells so bad. But I paid for it so I will use it all.... then I won't buy anymore!

I've tried a wide variety of hair removal creams and specialty razors, and I have been consistently disappointed with the results. I have very thick and coarse hair. Usually the best case scenario with hair removal creams is that it thins the hair out a little bit to make the shaving easier. But then razors don't give me a smooth shave, and even when I get it as close as I can, I end up with my skin worn down and bloody. This powder was very cheap, so I figured I had nothing to lose in trying something new. I considered buying the maximum strength variety, but figured it was safer to go with the original formula for my first experience. The results were amazing! This actually REMOVED my hair, the way it was advertised! My skin was smooth! I thought maybe the first time was a fluke, but after I let the hair grow back and tried it again the results were the same! I'm thrilled with this stuff and will be a repeat customer. Does it smell bad? Yes, but actually less than the competitors. Does it sting a little? Yes, but again, less than the competitors. Overall, it is cheaper, smells better, hurts less, and actually works the way it is supposed to! Without a doubt, this is better than other hair removal products.

The smell is rancid and incredibly foul. But the product does work, simply add water and apply to skin. Helps if the hair length is on the shorter side! Downside, it is quite messy. When it dries and cracks it crumbles all over leaving a fine dust. Beware.
