This one is as good if not better than the one I used to use on the Fireline. Quick read, min/max is perfect for my area (Wyoming) If you want to know what your local wind speed is get this. Watch a video or read the manual, you will be able to see the real-time, min, max and average wind speeds.

Works well, seems accurate

Excellent tool. Highly sensitive. Used to balance my HVAC. Used laser to measure rooms, identify location of vents within rooms, size of vents, runs. Fed into AI to do the math and used this to measure and adjust ft/min, convert to CFM and make vent adjustments. Worked excellent. No more overpressure or underpressure, no more drafts into the house with air being sucked in, less stress on the new unit. Whole house is now equalized. Also used it to check for drafts in all the windows, doors and sliding doors. Will pay for itself in a month or two. Worth every penny. Actually it's already paid for itself. To balance a new HVAC system (Which is supposed to be done by the installers, but usually isnt), runs around $1000 for a house this size. Ranges from $300 to $2000. If the ductwork is done, mine is, and all you are doing is installing a new unit outside, you can do it yourself.

It's pretty basic. All the functions work, and the wind gauge seems to work well. I'm not ready to put two hundred dollars into a Kestrel, so this is a good alternative for now. Not bad at all for the price.

Works great, works just like advertised

This little gadget is exactly what I needed for testing handheld and tabletop fans. I wanted something inexpensive, compact, and uncomplicated, and it delivers on all three. It lets me switch to meters per second, my preferred unit, and it remembers that units setting every time it powers on. The Max function locks in the highest recorded speed, which is perfect for how I test airflow. I place my fan directly against its wind velocity sensor and move the fan around a bit, until the max reading stops changing. It’s quick, consistent, and makes comparing fans speeds simple. For example, this clip‑on fan topped out at 6.5 m/s (see photo).

I use a the rifle range. To help with windage adjustments. It works great.

*** From an earlier review: I use this anemometer on the golf course (it is a replacement for a very simple unit that I lost). It is easy to use with multiple buttons to go directly to wind speed. Haven't used other functions yet. I had one of the yellow cheaper models which was not as easy to use and I avoided using it. When I attempted to get a wind reading recently, the battery had died or the unit was not operational. Updated review: NOTE: The fan fly wheel on the prior Totes TS-301 unit jammed while in my golf bag from the bag being repeatedly tossed into my hatchback after 18 holes of golf. I saw the unit on Black Friday sale and ordered a new one. While, installing the batteries from the first unit in the new unit, I decided to remove the six case closure screws in first unit which allowed me to re-seat the fan. After which the original unit was back in use. I now have a spare unit.

Acheté pour mon travail ( jardinier - paysagiste, élagueur et conducteur d'engins de levage) et mes loisirs ( drone , skysurf , tir à l'arc à poulie ) , j'ai enfin trouvé le Graal ! Mon '' précieux '' est précis sur les 3 fonctions ! J'ai testé l'anémomètre avec les 3 vitesses de mon ventilateur qui tourne de façon irrégulière ! Chaque variation est fidèlement retranscrire sur l'écran . La température : exactement la même que sur mon thermomètre utilisé pour mes orchidées , idem pour l'hygrométrie ! Étant également radiesthésiste ( entre autres) , je sais déjà qu'il restera aussi fidèle que moi !!!

En deze kan gewoon terug. Amazon heeft een fijn retour beleid. En Toptes zal deze moeten nakijken. Kan gebeuren toch..neemt dus niet weg dat dit een mooi artikel is en kwalitatief goed oogt. Met veel functies zoals vocht wind en temp. Kan dan ook verschillende maatstaven gebruiken en er zit background verlichting op.
