Will it fit through a 50mm thick timber worktop? Can it 'thread' through the hole from the top?

Q. is the mixer tap suitable for low pressure system ie fed from tank in loft A. Only if the plumbing system can produce a minimum of 0.4 bar dynamic pressure on both the hot and cold supplies. (max. 5.0 bar)

Has the grub screws problem been fixed, so the tap doesn’t fly off in the future

Hi, The Easyfit system is now on it's 3rd version since launch in 2012. The tap body now fixes on using an improved grub screw mechanism in order to avoid any potential fixing issues when installed., meaning that the base no longer has a front / back orientation, so it doesn't matter which way round the base is fixed when the tap is pushed on. The grub screw mounting has also been enlarged to ensure there is no slipping after installation even if the tap is moved over time. Thanks, Bristan.

Does the spout swivel on this tap?

Yes, it does swivel but in our case, due to the flexing of the stainless steel sink, it needs two hands to steady the tap itself when swiveling. Also, as we used the swivel quite a lot and the seal (an O Ring) where the spout enters the body wore quite quickly and started to leak. I've replaced the O ring but now avoid swiveling the spout.
