If yours does not come as the desired model, you may have to return it or work with the seller to have them sell you the correct model. The one I purchased was GQML3 and the 5G has been great from my experience. **Q: Are these factory unlocked (as in they support OEM unlocking) or are they carrier unlocked (as in you can use any carrier)?** A: Can't really tell you for sure. The one I received was carrier locked to AT&T and no one could help so I returned it **Q: Will the refurbished units still maintain their IP68 protection?** A: Depends on to what degree they refurbished it and who did it. **Q: Does this carry the same water resistance level after the renew process?** A: Depends on what the renewal process consisted of.
