No Screen Scratches, Healthy Battery
I was a little worried about buying this renewed phone because it was labeled as "Good" condition instead of excellent and $166 for a 256GB model seemed too good be true, but after using it for a month I can say that I got a quality product with acceptable compromises. First off, there are no cracks or other damage to the screen itself, but there are a few dings on the sides of the phone and many scratches to the metal camera bump on the back. I personally don't care about cosmetic scratches and I'm a case-only user so I don't feel the dings on the sides, but if you care about your phone's looks or never use a case I would recommend buying new or the highest renewed quality available. My second worry was battery life, but I am satisfied with the charge that it holds for my needs. As you can see in the first photo I have been using the Accubattery app for a month and it reports 3,400mAH (milliAmp Hours) capacity down from the design capacity of 4,300mAH, so it the battery has lost around 25% of its charge. In current year 3,400mAH sounds pretty poultry, but in real use I tend to get 6 hours of screen time without battery saver and 8 hours with battery saver on. I am not a heavy phone user, I average around 2 hours of screen time per day so I only charge once every two days (I charge from 30% or 40% to 100%), but if you rack up lots of screen time I would recommend buying new. I recognize that 4,300mAH isn't very impressive capacity to start with and reducing that further isn't acceptable for some people. This has been a huge upgrade for me from my previous cheapo phone that was becoming painfully slow and I am very happy with the deal I got. I cannot say that buying renewed is for everyone, but my experience with this seller has been an incredible value.

Listed as ‘Excellent’ but arrived scratched and defective
The phone I received did not match the Amazon Renewed “Excellent” condition described in the listing. The obsidian metal trim has deep scratches and the glass on the back of the device also has significant scratches that look similar to abrasion. These damages are easily visible from more than 12 inches away in normal lighting, which contradicts the “Excellent” cosmetic standard. The packaging also offered minimal protection. The phone arrived in a small package with only a thin bubble wrap sleeve and one sheet of bubble wrap. More importantly, the device is defective. When it arrived it showed the low battery screen. I charged the phone for several hours using multiple known working chargers and cables, but it never moved past the low battery display. After charging overnight, the phone now does not power on at all. I purchased this device for Android development testing and presentation, so receiving a device with both cosmetic damage and a battery failure was extremely disappointing. I am returning for a refund.

Locked or Unlocked, that is the question...
I have purchased several phones from Amazon before this, each allegedly unlocked. But what are we asking when we ask that question? If a phone is stolen, it can be locked from being reactivated. A phone can be locked because the person you purchased it from didn't share their passcode to "unlock" the phone to make calls. Then there is Carrier Unlocked, which usually means it can be used with any provider's (like AT&T, Verizon, TMobile, etc.) system. There may be other things that unlocked may refer to that I am frankly ignorant about. Any time I've purchased a phone that was supposed to be unlocked, and it would not activate, the seller always insisted it was unlocked. Finally, with this Pixel 7, I seem to have a phone which is carrier unlocked, as well as not having a user lock. No warnings about using a specific network's SIM card were presented on activation. In fact, the phone appeared completely new other than generic packaging. It functions well, clean,no scratches anywhere on the exterior, initial setup was as if it was an unused phone. The screen has no "burn in" patterns and is bright and responds quickly to touch. Battery appears to be like new as well. I purchased this phone after using iPhones for about 8 years. I tired of Apple's insisting I buy more cloud space without an effective way to remove my photos (and KEEP them), the only choices being to delete them or subscribe for more cloud space. Apple doesn't have to do it that way, but they want you to buy cloud space. A dollar a month doesn't seem like much, but multiply that by 230million users! The cloud is probably the most environmentally damaging way to hang onto old digital photos ever invented. Also, if at some point the cloud loses your photos, you have little recourse. That is also the case if they change the rules about access to YOUR DATA. Research it. I you think you want a new phone, a good place to start your research is gsmarena. I like the Pixel series because there are custom ROMS, operating systems, that can be loaded in place of Android. Remember how I said I switched from Apple to Android? Well my previous Android phone wasn't to my liking, which is why I switched to iPhones to start with...and because MS messed up the WONDERFUL Windows Phone 8.1, I felt there were no other choices. I digress...in case I don't like the latest offering from Android I wanted options, like LineageOS and GrapheneOS. So far I am experimenting with the stock Android until I know it isn't merely learning curve that frustrates me.By the way, Google has their own dirty cloud, as does MS. I avoid them all. My final word of advice is to be prepared to return the phone, any phone. You might have just a bad example, or maybe it wasn't properly listed, or renewed, or unlocked. Mistakes happen. Or maybe the phone just isn't right for you. I didn't need to contact this seller for anything, I am happy with the purchase ! The seller was "thegadgetdeals".

Props to the seller but ScamAzon screws up as usual
The pixel 7 came in good condition little scuffs on the camera bar (camera itself is in good condition). Battery life surprising good, I would assume an older used phone would drain quickly but this specific unit holds up pretty well even with the always on display. Although I don't have many apps/services running constantly in the background. The main and only reason I got this phone was to root/mod and install custom OS and I was worried that it would come in with a locked bootloader but I got lucky and was able to unlock the bootloader, the carrier was also unlock. Other reviews on amazon about renewed/used pixel phones showed a good amount of people receiving locked bootloader and carrier, thankfully that wasn't the case for me. Seller provided a good unit but Amazon delivery and it's customer service is god awful, if Amazon wasn't so convenient and available I would never shop here again... rat trap by a mega corp!

Refurbish job/quality control is ok
(After some days of writing the stuff below, I dropped the phone only about 2 feet onto tile when I had a screen protector and case, and apparently the LED's shattered and made the screen all blue, and eventually unusable, totaling the phone. Maybe it's cope to say that the screen was replaced before I got the phone and was done so in an improper manner making it more fragile, or I just got unlucky) I got the at&t version. It came and worked fine with no issues. The screen was basically immaculate and came with a protector pre install as well. The battery health was at 84%, so higher than their guaranteed 80% but not fantastic. It still gets me through the day just fine. After about 90 days the phone said it was now carrier unlocked so that's neat. In terms of this product being sold refurbished there are no complaints but there are gripes with the phone model itself that aren't the sellers fault, such as the screen being slightly warm in color, fingerprint reader being ok at best, and getting a little warm in the hand from just regular use. All of these issues are typical of any pixel 7, refurbished or not, so just know what you're buying before you get this. Still overall very satisfied

Elevates your day with features you didn’t even know you needed, the Pixel 7 delivers.
I originally picked up the Pixel 7 for one simple reason: I needed a phone with reliable Tap to Pay. That was the entire motivation behind the purchase. I wasn’t chasing specs or hype — just a device that would let me move through my day without pulling out a wallet. But the moment I set it up, it became clear this phone was going to give me far more than the one feature I came for. Tap to Pay worked instantly and flawlessly, which already checked my main box. But then the Pixel 7 started revealing features I didn’t even know I needed. The interface felt clean and intuitive. Face Unlock and the fingerprint sensor worked without hesitation. Even small touches — like call screening, smart photo tools, and the smoothness of everyday navigation — made the phone feel thoughtfully designed for real life. Day by day, it kept surprising me. Not with flashy gimmicks, but with practical features that quietly made everything easier such as the copilot chat feature. By the end of the week, I realized this wasn’t just a phone that met my expectations — it pushed past them. I bought it for Tap to Pay, but the features I didn’t know I needed took my satisfaction to another level.

OEM Bootloader locked.
I ordered a Pixel 7, unlocked. It came CARRIER unlocked but the bootloader was still locked. If you search the IMEI number it comes back as a Verizon phone. My T-Mobile SIM card worked just fine, so the phone is definitely carrier unlocked. If you don't care about the ability to unlock the bootloader for stuff like Graphene OS installation then it's otherwise a perfect phone. Came in excellent condition, no screen scratches. Battery is great. 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that it's not a factory unlocked phone but rather it is a "paid off" unlocked phone.

Fair value for money. Exterior as good as new, all functionality works. Battery 78%.
Negatives after 4 months of ownership. Battery health 78% as measured by AccuBattery app immediately after purchase. The phone died after being submerged in water for a few seconds - maybe a refurbished phone was repaired, so the factory watertight seal wasn't there anymore. Had an incident where a charging cable wouldn't connect for ~1.5 days, though visually there was no dirt in the port. It was back to normal after some cleaning attempts. The power button once got stuck and the phone went into a reboot loop. After some trials, I got it unstuck mechanically, and it is back to normal. Overall fair value for money. Not a single scratch screen or back when received, everything works. Screen works and bright, touch works, fingerprint works, speakers work, Bluetooth works, unlocked (tried T-Mobile and foreign SIM), GPS works, NFC works, back and front cameras work, applications work smooth, no lag, calling and SMS works, 5G data and WiFi work. Delivered very fast. Seller DNCL-TECHZONE.

Good, just good. Price justified, sure..
It's good at best The condition is labeled as 'excellent' but that's false. There's small scratches around the frame. Also, the charger is generic that it doesn't work. Some compensation will be appreciated 🤞

Works Great!
This product has several mixed reviews so I was a little worried about ordering it but luckily for me everything seems to be working perfectly! I was able to set up the new phone & swap my SIM card right away. It looks factory new and works like a charm. Awesome phone! :D

USADO, NO REFURBISHED
