But if you need actual padding forget it. This won’t make a hard mattress or sofa bed feel softer, maybe 2 or 3% softer because it’s a nice feeling polyester. I’d say this is best used to make a gel pad feel more like a bed, which I now will have to buy because this pad didn’t do what I’d hoped. This poly fill is like a very, very, very thin pillow. It doesn’t give any resistance to your weight.
