Vitamin C is considered an "active" and should be used before hydrating/targeted treatment serums like this (AMAZING, btw) one. Typically in Asian Beauty this is more of a PM serum (since it's nice and thick with anti-aging properties that work overnight) it's recommended at night to: oil cleanse/remove makeup --> low pH foaming/cream/gel cleanser --> pH adjusting toner (acids like your Vitamin C work better at a lower pH) --> Actives! These in the order you'd use them are: BHA (ie. Salicylic Acid), AHA (ie. Mandelic, Lactic, or Glycolic Acid) then Vitamin C. Try to wait 15-20 minutes in between for full absorbtion and effectiveness. Then... Hydrate! Use a layering Use a hydrating toner, serum or 3, ampoules, sheet mask, humectant moisturizing cream or gel, oils and then seal with an occlusive moisturizer.
