Does it work for daddy long legs?

I would say so yes, anything that size will fit in safely, I've removed large spiders, wasps, bluebottles etc, personally I just remove daddy long legs in my cupped hands, but always be carefull when closing the trap sliding door not to actually trap any legs!

How do you put it outside,do you keep it there?

Haha no. When you catch the bug slide the cover to close the container and then carry it outside and slide the cover back to release the bug which will fly away or if a spider , release it into a bush. I would not want to be without this tool. It's fab!

Do this work on the floor or is it just for insects on walls?!

It works on all flat surfaces. Be careful when closing the trap door, that you do not damage the insect. Set it free to go out and pollinate
