Are these half a size bigger than normal? Some of them on Converse's website statea this on certain shoes.

I do not find Converse shoes any bigger than normal, to be honest I find them bit narrower. Normally if half sizes available I wear UK size 8.5 but owing to these Converse being narrow and not available half sizes I wear 9
