Peter Pauper Press Celestial Journal (Diary, Notebook)

I have bought these journals and my first instinct has been to quickly place another order. They are so beautiful! Very high quality, soft, smooth and thick pages to write on and the covers... Oh, the covers are absolutely stunning. They feel and look so good and expensive. Unfortunately, no camera does these covers justice, but they are absolutely brilliant. This has been my first time purchasing from this company, but I can now say that I am hooked and quite possibly, a client for life. Please create more designs for journals like these for us, people addicted to journaling and die-hard fans of beautifully crafted journals. Thank you! I would give you 10 stars, not just 5. Oh, and I forgot to mention the price. The price is very good in proportion to the quality and compared to other sellers on Amazon of which paper quality, cover quality is not great. One happy bunny!

Gold foil edged pages, book mark ribbon, sewn spine, 165mm (w) x 215mm (h). It is a bit larger than A5. Lovely cracked dark blue, gold embossed, faux leather pattern cover (same both front and back) by H T Wood of London 1933. Nice (simpler) spine decor. 160 very faint lined blank pages of heavy archival (acid free) paper (average for the series ). A blank gold card weight inset page front and back. 1 title page simply 'Journal' with verso a 3 line summary of Peter Pauper's 1928 start. The paper will take a fountain pen well and is not watermarked. The description sticker leaves no residue, but needs a bit of ordinary care to stay in 1 piece when you pull it off. Lovely, smart and tasteful. A mini-work of art from all angles, done with care and pride. A pleasure to look at and to hold. I prefer these to the Paperblank, though they are nice and have a some lovely designs and slightly different features. Peter Pauper journals win for me, as they have more lovely little detailing and extra pages. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Beautiful notebook.

I absolutely love this book. Let’s start off with the outside I’m guessing just like me you’re wondering if you can feel the design and the answer is yes! you can. The exterior of this planner feels like an antique item. As the gold looks so realistic and the Royal blue Enhances it more. Inside the pages are Linear with its own book marker. The pages are of high-quality and very smooth to write on. If you’re looking for a book that will last long and that is visually very appealing then you have found it! Looking at it on my desk just makes me want to pick it up and start writing. Love it!

This journal is even prettier in person! It's a good size, the pages have a nice thickness to it, there is a handy ribbon bookmark, and the line spacing feels right too. I would also feel comfortable with using more 'inky' pens to write in it with no worries about it bleeding on the other side of the page. At the time, I managed to buy this journal at a good price (approx. £8) considering some stores are selling this for around £12 (although I can see why it's priced this way as the product is good quality). Although I'm very happy with my purchase, I didn't give 5 stars because the top part of the spine was slightly crushed when delivered. But I still can't recommend this enough to anyone looking for a journal-type notebook that is of quality and charming aesthetic. The gold design and page borders really pop against the deep blue - I only wish I bought another one at the time!

This book is beautiful! the gold shine with the navy blue looks magical, and the gold on the edges of the pages is a really nice touch. I have no complaints from this book, i have seen other reviews where people have had trouble getting the sticker off the back, but for me it came off with no trouble whatsoever with no sticky residue left on the book. The pages are really thick and my pens do not bleed through, it is a really high quality product and for the price i think it is a brilliant purchase! I would recommend this to anyone!

This book is lovely, the cover is gorgeous and sturdy with beautiful gilded thick quality pages too. I saw many people had trouble with the sticky label on the back, I found it came off quite easily and although some parts stuck, it was easily removed without damaging it. I also saw that some people didn't like the inside cover with a brief about the company and that there was no inside envelope for scraps. However, I made my own envelope and stuck it on top of the brief and it looks great (pics attached). I like to write with a black gel ink pen and although I have only tested a page with a small dot, there was no bleeding and unable to see it on the other side of the page.

le colis est arrivé dans les temps, bien protégé et impeccable. De plus il est bien conforme à l'image, je ne suis pas déçue de l'avoir acheté. Et le prix est avantageux, sachant que celui que j'avais trouvé en boutique était à 20€ au lieu de 10€ ici.

L'articolo è esattamente come in foto, l'avevo acquistato per me ma poi l'ho trovato così delicato e bello da comprarne un altro da regalare ad un'amica. Non ha nulla da invidiare a marche più costose e famose, ed è visivamente bello oltre che ad avere fogli di qualità. Stra consigliato

So when it comes to these journals I’ve never been disappointed. I have been buying a new one each year with a different cover for my daughter as part of her birthday gifts. She raves about them and has used markers and other things when she journals. I’ll continue to buy them for her because she puts them to good use. 5/5 ⭐️
