They make me laugh out loud and the action makes me cringe at times but it is great fun and a nice contrast to the sanitised plots of modern children's entertainment. My kids adore them and it is nice to see something that maintains its appeal across several generations. I have this DVD as well as volume 2 and volume 3 all of which cover the classic era of the duo. I would recommend all three without hesitation. Review: Tom and Jerry DVD - Great classic cartoons. Fast paced and excellent!!
In an era of pristine CGI animated movies it is great to see something that has aged so well as Tom and Jerry. Now that I have kids of my own I am getting to enjoy these cartoons all over again. Great Fun
I couldnt tell whare the voice had been dubed, it sounded alot like the origional to me the only difference i noticed is when the maid sings and her song changed to a less cosmopolitan tune -which was weird. Other than that great pleasure to watch and my daughter had a lot of fun getting to know tom and gerry - shes on the side of the mouse!

My 4 year old has been introduced to Tom and Jerry!
...and he loves it! Now he's always asking to watch this DVD. I thought it was about time I introduced him to some classic cartoons, as CBeebies lacks this sort of material ! (Gone are the days when there was a much greater mixture of content on TV suitable for kids). This DVD is great value and packs in almost 3 hours of cartoons, enough to keep my son occupied for as long as I'll let him!

In ogni episodio il DVD presenta parti seriamente danneggiate, la proiezione si interrompe e compare il messaggio “Salta la parte danneggiata”. Dopo un po' la proiezione riparte, spesso a scatti, saltando di volta in volta le parti danneggiate, quindi con grandi tagli che fanno perdere la continuità della storia. Doveva essere un regalo per la mia nipotina. Peccato!
