I was trying to lose weight but I really just want to slim down my stomach that looks 8 months pregnant. I'm not really too worried about rest of my body. Anywho, for starters this was very easy to put together. There is a setting for beginners all the way up to expert to fit your needs. I think I'm about 215 lbs and not in the best shape. I started out easy trying not to over do it because I didn't want to hurt or strain anything. I felt the burn in every muscle in my abdominal that I forgot I had, groin/inner thigh area and upper arms and woke up sore the next day. It felt like this machine will be perfect for all the areas I need to tone up. It's sturdy, I didn't have any problems with wobbling as it was in the lowest position. It was pretty comfortable, the padding did it's job and best of all it didn't cause any pain in my back when I used it. It folds up and takes up as much space as an ironing bored to store out of the way.
