Bad quality
Terrible. I used it a handful of times and the clock keeps acting up. The number on the screen don't change from side to side when you tap it.

A five year old set it up, and it keeps time. If your a professional chess player you would not be shopping for this on Amazon. It's perfect for everyone else. It is not flimsy for what it is, if you try to use it as a hammer, then yes it's flimsy.

10 year old son LOVES it
Great addition to the chess board he chose. It really challenges him to finish the game before time and puts the pressure on his opponents. Lol- he loves it. On/ off button underneath and it requires two AA batteries which are obviously not included. Would purchase again.
