I wanted something to ease the problems with drinking so I got her the non-tip cups (see picture) etc. However, she found that standard sized (plastic) straws were both difficult to hold and were hard for her to suck through as they were too slim.These have been perfect. They fit into a standard 'hospital' cup as in the picture (they're a tight fit but do not reduce the flow) and my wife finds them comfortable to hold and very easy on her (sore) lips.The added bonus is that, when the grandkids came around, they loved the colour and the touch of them too and started on at their Mum to buy some for home.I am really impressed with the straws (you can tell, as I wouldn't usually go on about a relatively small item like this) and equally impressed with the company. These are the right size. You can clean with the brushes they provide. I use my oxo straw brush to clean - it still fits! The reason we chose this size is because all the other straws are too long. We had some metallic straws. All the coloured paint started stripping off. So we landed that silicone would be the best option. Can't wait for these to become available again as I will surely be ordering a few more!Ordered in March 2021. They are very appealing and although you do get a little skinny brush to clean them, I just whack them in the dishwasher, they come out fine.A great buy and truly, truly exceptional customer service who really stand behind their products.
