When a fearless enemy out for revenge unleashes a brutal and deadly new virus, BSAA captain Chris Redfield enlists the help of Agent Leon S. Kennedy and Professor Rebecca Chambers to bring down the death merchant and save New York City. Review: Now that is how it's done! - Currently going through this series of RE animated films. Note: This series is mainly for RE fans, so that's who I'm rating this for. I can say without a doubt, this is a big improvement over the last movie: RE:Damnation. If you're a RE fan, you gotta watch this. This is Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy IN THEIR PRIME! The scenes look great. The locations are well better than the previous film. Characters are enjoyable and interesting. Sound is great, although lipsync is off slightly. The story is the best in the series so far. The action/fight scenes are 10/10! Gorier than the last two films combined. There are a few moves that are over the top, but all in all, it's so excellently choreographed. Especially that last 30 minutes where they turn it up to 100. I had to rewatch this part again - it was so good. They really do the characters justice and show some real skill. If you're expecting classic zombie action, this is the film for you! The other 2 only have tastes, this has a lot more. Capcom, keep it up! Get us a Jill Valentine movie like this! Review: Hilarious Resi Fun - Being a fan of resident evil since the first game, I knew exactly what to expect from the newest installment in the animated series. This movie had me and some friends in stitches pretty much from start to finish. Campy dialogue, over the top fight scenes and a crazy villain (Though Albert Wesker/Alfred Ashford he ain't). Visually, this is the nicest looking animated movie thus far and makes the most of it in some insane action scenes to rival the live action movies. If you are looking for a well made film with compelling characters that has a lot to say for itself or something that recaptures the Resi roots of horror then this is not for you. If however you have been riding the Resident Evil crazy train since it became an insane action series, then this movie will not disappoint! You get to see some familiar faces (With Mathew Mercer still gracing us as Leon) with Rebecca making her first appearance since forever which is pretty nice. Could not recommend this more for a fun movie night and a drinking game!

Best Resident evil film so far
Best Resident evil film so far! Way better than most of the live action movies. Good to have Chris Rebecca and Leon back. Animation is excellent and we'll paced. Action is good, franticly fast. And has a eerie cool spooky opening like the original resident evil game/remakes. Only downside for me was Rebecca is shown as a Damsel in Distress which I don't think she is. Rebecca is very interesting intelligent and can take care of herself like she does in RE books and the RE zero and remakes (unlike university scene, flopping about). The music is best in film series. This film doesn't deserve some of the harsh reviews it's had/getting, watch this film if ur a resi evil fan or not and make up your own minds. 8.5/10

Couldn't ask for a better movie
This adaptation is probably the best ones yet, for many years I've been a fan of the Resident Evil video games and the I felt that Anderson's live action movies weren't at all that great. The GCI movies however are much better in comparison and linked with the games own timeline. Vendetta is truly an amazing movie and is a must watch for all fans out there, i'd say it's done way better than Anderson's Resident Evil The Final Chapter.

Rebecca returns
I am a fan of the games and the CGI movies interest me as they are in the same universe. I was excited to see Rebecca in this film as we havenโt seen her since resident evil 1/0, plus Chris and Leon team up. It was cool to see the characters interact but I felt that I wanted to see more callbacks to the past. For example, do Leon and Chris know each other well and bond over their shared experiences of Raccoon City and each knowing Claire etc. We saw them briefly share a screen in RE6 but here they share the film together and it was appealing. The animation is the better of the three films but there seemed to be less monsters this time around. There were some ridiculous scenes where the characters outright endangers the lives of other people in order to fight the monsters that just made me laugh. Itโs not the best and it is clearly made around RE6, so it is very action focussed. Itโs not a bad movie though and it entertained me.

Lots of Fun
This is a fun film with great animation. Doesn't add anything new to the Resident Evil lore but it allows us to spend 90 minutes with the colourful RE characters and is a good romp for anyone who is a fan of the series.
