Olson SA4940 24-Skip tooth scroll blades

I've only used the 11.5tpi blade so far in my Record Power SS16V scroll saw to cut out shapes in spalted sycamore. It was much easier to follow the line with less blade drift than with other blades I've tried. The cut surface finish was incredibly smooth even with the coarsest of the 3 grades in the pack. I'll be using either the 12.5 or 20 tpi blades in my vintage jeweller's saw to do inlays and other fine work. I also like that I can keep the blades in their original pack, making it much easier to choose the right one for the job while protecting them from damage. I think I'll be sticking to Olson blades from now on.

Nice set of blades , typical good quality from Olson . Nice touch is the back cardboard tabs which allow you to take just one blade out of the packet and leave the rest in without destroying the box

There are many scroll saw blade manufacturers out there , but you can always rely on Olsen blades. Tried cheaper ones but tend to find they snap a lot easier. So sticking with the best ones I have come across.

These blades have completely transformed my scroll saw, I can now accurately follow a line rather than butcher my workpieces, I’m pleased as I was starting to think I was just awful at it. Highly recommend these. Mine is used on an Aldi scrollsaw intended for pinned blades, but the straight blades work fine with my adaptors fitted.

As a beginner at scroll sawing this skip tooth blade gives me a feeling of control when cutting tight curves and removes material in a non-aggressive way.

Está muy bien explicado te dice que características de corte tiene cada tipo de segueta y para qué tipo de material y grosor se recomienda.

Je les utilise en bijouterie pour faire des modeles en cire, pour scier les blocs et tubes. C est parfait, plus precis que les lames spirales mais ne reste pas collé dans la cire comme les lames classiques.
