GRAVITY

I got it at a great discount from Amazon, so I'm not really upset about the packaging issues (not really a steelbook but a metal pack, and the terrible stickering job all over the box). Gravity in 3D is well mastered, and is now my 3D demo disc of choice. The 2D version is great when you have more viewers than 3D glasses, and it packs in a good number of extras as well, which I thoroughly enjoyed watching. I would count this as a complete experience at a price that's totally worth it.

Being the first steelbook I wanted to see what it would look like but was disappointed to find the case having a small dent on the top left hand corner. Anyways i was more concerned with the quality of the disc inside which was intact. The set comes with 2 bluray disc, one 3d and the other 2d. The 3d effects initially was flat but as the movie progressed the 3d effects became better and the depthness and pop out were amazing and awesome. Certainly a good collection to own if fan of 3d movies as it does justice to the subject and provides a good movie experience. The movie is outstanding too with a positive plot making it a good collection to own.

Great pricing by Amazon. Superb Science fiction movie based in space full of thrill & suspense with awesome visuals & a very different kind of action in space. The movie being a multi oscar winner and at an such an unbelievable price, I had to buy this movie DVD.

I specifically bought the non-3D version. The Blu-ray disk I received is a 3-D version. I cannot play it on my player and tv. Complete waste of money. The cover also doesn’t say 3D but the disk does!

The Gravity BDs (both 2D and 3D) are - in one word - Spectacular. The AV quality is beyond comparison and hence, regardless of the packaging, this film is a must-own on Blu. Coming to the Metalpak edition by Warner Bros China (I think Sony DADC India can be blamed for taking the decision to market this edition as a Steelbook, but not for any other reason), this is everything a Steelbook is not. The surface is too glossy and is, needless to say, a fingerprint magnet. The quality of material is also inferior, as the one I got had been slightly dented upon delivery. The artwork is more prone to scratches here. And adding insult to injury, the leaflet containing the disc specs is glued to the back of the package, which upon removal resulted in sticky leftovers on the Metalpak surface... So, if you're going for a true Steelbook for this film, then get the UK one for a couple of hundreds more. For me, the discs are in pristine condition, so this will do for now...

Once again great service by Amazon to deliver it on time. The movie is great and sound effects are simply superb. 3D effects are also good but has less stereoscopic 3D effects (only few scenes have it).

What an excellent movie...great audio and video surround effects are amaging subwoofer low frequencys are very thrilling.must have movie for every audiophile...deep base from sub..thank you amazon super fast delivery...

Good movie with simple storyline. Visuals and DTS HDMA 5.1 audio are excellent. 3D is good, would've been better if the aspect ratio could be in 16:9 (full screen), like cameron did in Avatar 3D BD. Gravity, this movie has many long shots which we could rarely see in any movie. 3d depth is very good and don't expect much pop-outs. Liked the audio very much, even smallest sound (tightening bolt, etc) can be heard. Amazon delivered quicker than scheduled. 2BDs in the box, one is 3D movie only BD and other one is Special features BD with movie in 2D. Surprisingly it has Hindi Dobly 5.1 audio which is not mentioned in Amazon specs. In this area Amazon should take care in writing detailed specs of d Disc being kept for sale. Great and a must movie to keep in ur 3D collection.
