Touching
I personally like this book very much both the beautiful picture illustrations and the story line itself. Paper dolls symbolize the beautiful childhood of a little girl. My heart was so touched on the epidsode that how a mother played around with her little daughter and teaching her making paper dolls. Then by the imagination of the little girl, she had a lot of fun with the paper dolls until she she met her little boyfriend. This naughty boyfriend cut the paper dolls into trashes then flied up to sky and disappeared. It is sad to the point but the author keeps the message positive. Author does not portrait any nagative feeling with the little girl that the paper dolls gone. This seems me that everyone should get over and move on escalating to another stage of life, which is also very true to reality. Still, my 4 year old daughter is not ready to get over, she refuses to read the page that how the little boy tore and cut the paper dolls. She cries whenever she reads. That's why I think this book successful. It is so touching !!!

Fantastic story
I absolutely adore this story. I first read this with my daughter not long after my dad had suddenly passed away. We renewed it numerous times from the library and it gave us such a great comfort at the time. This story tells the story of a little girl, things and people that her are precious to her. It has the classic rhythm of a Julia Donaldson story. It is comforting, reassuring and beautiful 😍 There are so many activities that you can do to explore the story theme and content. This book is a real gift 💝

Great story but damaged.
Loved the story however the pages at the top of the book are ripped and appear to have a dark line across. Some of the pages are still connected / stuck together. I think it is a manufacturing error. Would you like me to send some photos?

A must have for kids...and parents
I bought this book for 4yr old daughter, she loved it and so did I. It's a simple story, it repeats itself, so perfect for young ears, but it has a deeper message for adults and that pulled at my heart strings. It's unassuming, but one of those books that will make appearances at the right times.

Dolce storia dai +3
L'inglese è semplice e facilmente comprensibile/traducibile. Lo consiglio!

Nice
The book is super cute and I do recommend it, we are enjoying it a lot. My 4 year old prefers longer books, but for 1-5 year olds it should be a hit. It is the first time I buy a used very good book and it comes in this state, it was completely broken in various places. Thank god it is readable, but it looked like someone used it to care tons of books on it and it got cut into by metal. Very disappointed. Will not send it back because the book it interesting and my daughter will not care much about how it looks, but wow....
