Box Contains 1 x Delonghi KBOM3001 Review: You want to watch it boil - This is such a beautiful kettle I really do want to sit and watch it boil! It boils quickly. It has a lovely gentle purring noise as well. My video makes it sound louder than it is. The spout is narrower at the end than my last kettle so you can really direct the flow of the water when you pour. It is really gleaming and looks robust. The red is so shiny you can see your reflection in it. Lid glides off easily. Best kettle I’ve had and worth the money. Everyone admires it! I looked at another review about the lid falling in and this is not true for mine. I could not force the lid down if I tried. It must have been updated. Empty mine weighs about 920g. Review: Proper Metal Kettle - It’s is absolutely worth the extra money to get a robust metal kettle rather than a plastic one where things easily break and it gets external scale build up that is hard to remove. The lid is not automatic, but I have arthritis and find it ok to lift off. The kettle is slightly heavier I guess than a plastic one, but not so much that I have noticed, but it may be something to consider. I love the beautiful spout which is narrow at the top and gives a very exact pour, which is useful if you have problems with hands (me), tremors, shaking (me) or muscle spasms (me). I am expecting that this will last longer than 9-11 months of use. Great design and colour. Definitely recommend. ## Features - Rapid boil - Three level safety protection - Removable washable feature - Cordless kettle with 360 degrees swivel base - Measuring window - Do not fill with more than 1,7 litres of water (max. level). If the kettle is overfilled, there is a risk that boiling water may overflow and cause burns ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00IAM74XG | | Best Sellers Rank | 65,271 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 227 in Electric Kettles | | Brand | De'Longhi | | Brand Name | De'Longhi | | Capacity | 1.7 litres | | Colour | Black | | Container Type | Kettle | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 502 Reviews | | Finish Type | Polished | | Global Trade Identification Number | 08004399772083 | | Included Components | Removable, washable limescale filter | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 9.1L x 9.1W x 10.4H centimetres | | Item Weight | 1.3 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Delonghi | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Model Name | Icona | | Model Number | 0177600151 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Cordless | | Package information | Kettle | | Part Number | 0177600151 | | Product Care Instructions | Hand wash, Wipe clean | | Special feature | Cordless | | UPC | 190283828979 | | Voltage | 240 Volts | | Wattage | 3000 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** De'Longhi - **Capacity:** 1.7 litres - **Colour:** Black - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Special feature:** Cordless ## Images ![Icona Micalite KBOM3001BK Kettle - Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/614SkPQww3L.jpg) ![Icona Micalite KBOM3001BK Kettle - Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81K55NCfEQL.jpg) ![Icona Micalite KBOM3001BK Kettle - Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71qz5AtdHTL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this the gloss finish or pearlescent?** A: It is gloss. **Q: Has anyone had this kettle longer than 2 years. I'm fed up with kettles that leak from the bottom after 14 months. Mae** A: Hi I have only had this kettle for a few weeks and i wouldnt recommend it. It takes a long time to boil despite claims that it is a fast boil, and is very noisy. I was very disappointed with it, as it was nearly £60.00 which is a lot of money for a kettle. Definitely not good value for money I am sorry to say. I might add that i also purchased the de longi 4 slot toaster which I love and would recommend. Hope this helps. **Q: Is the interior body of this made with 'food grade' high quality stainless steel?** A: Hi. The interior is high quality stainless steel however not of food grade standard. The filter piece is not of stainless steel and believe this to be plastic. Despite this, this is my second kettle and I’m very pleased with the high standard quality. It is very robust yet stylish and represents good value for money, so I thoroughly recommend it. **Q: is this kettle quiet ?** A: hi, it's a hard question to answer as it's relative to what you're used to. it's not the quietest but I've found it no noisier than any other quick boil kettles. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You want to watch it boil *by J***E on 6 October 2023* This is such a beautiful kettle I really do want to sit and watch it boil! Delivery took a while because they were out of stock but I waited because of the competitive price. I have now used it for a couple of days. With workmen in the house, it has been used rather a lot in that time. It boils very quickly, looks smart and a bit special on the worktop and seems stable on its base. Metal kettles do feel hotter than plastic ones and it would have to be treated with care with children around, but then so would any other kettle. The flex is a good length, not too long, not too short. The only drawback I have found it that if you don't put the lid on properly, it can fall into the kettle - and it difficult to get out again. However, in general I am very pleased. ## Frequently Bought Together - De'Longhi Icona Micalite KBOM3001BK Kettle - Black - De'Longhi Distinta X CTIN4003.BK Designer 4 Slice Toaster, Variable Browning Control, Reheat/Defrost/Bagel Function -Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.id/products/49050245-icona-micalite-kbom3001bk-kettle-black](https://www.desertcart.id/products/49050245-icona-micalite-kbom3001bk-kettle-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Indonesia* *Store origin: ID* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
