Sonax has made a real name for itself in the Car Care/Detailing world for making products that provide ‘Class-Leading’ levels of water beading. Well, when it comes to water-repellency Polymer Net Shield (PNS) must be their ‘crowning achievement', it will ‘bead’ water like nothing else I’ve ever tested/used and I’ve tried a lot of different products, from High-End Paste waxes (Pinnacle Souveran/Smartwax Concours) to Liquid waxes (Meguiars Ultimate/Deep Crystal Carnauba), right the way through to expensive Synthetic Polymer sealants (Chemical Guys Jetseal/Permaseal etc) of which PNS is one. However, it’s not all fantastic news, to achieve the full benefits of this amazing hydrophobic behaviour, full paint-preparation is required, wash/clay/paint-cleanse polish/compound (if required) & finally an IPA (Alcohol-based cleaner) wipe down. This is a lot of work but it will be well worth the extra effort & if your paint is well maintained then it won’t be too much like hard work, you might even enjoy doing it... If this paint-preparation is not followed, it will significantly reduce the 'surface bonding' of the product & thus durability. I applied PNS using a microfiber pad, I found the best way to apply it, was to spray the foam on to the pad & then to the paint, you don’t need very much, a couple of small sprays per panel will be enough. Work the product across the surface (one panel at a time) & buff-off quickly with a clean high quality microfiber cloth, the cloth tends to ‘stick’ a little when removing the product, just buff until all streaks/traces are gone. What’s left is a less than super-smooth surface, if you have ever used Sonax BSD then this is something you’ll be familiar with, if not, this is completely normal. The surface with bead water like crazy & the paint with be protected/sealed well beyond 6-months (giving great winter protection) if carried out in the autumn, you can top-up using any spray-wax/sealant but Sonax BSD would obviously make a fantastic surface ‘topper’ as it’s chemically similar, making a great combination. One last thing, this is the 340ml can sold for around £16.00, so I think it represents much better value-for-money than the 210ml can (sold for approx. £13.00), that's over 60% extra for only £3.00 more, so it should last at least 3 full-applications for a medium-sized hatchback, happy days indeed..!

Still probably one of the best and most cost effective sealants out there. I've had my previous tin for three years! Gives a glossy 'clean and sharp' look to paint and of course beads water very well indeed. Application can be a little tricky, I used to use a microfibre pad but found it a bit slow, I now spray into a damp microfibre cloth - apply a section at a time, then buff off (no need to wait) in one direction at first then buff normally (it cures really quickly making normal buffing tricky) with a short pile micofibre towel. Although a thorough prep is advised (to get the best look and durability), you really don't have to do it, but a wipe down with a panel wipe or IPA mix is a good idea. Also be aware that any other products that you may use can mask its water behavour (wash and wax, detail sprays etc). As a side note it also does a good job darkening and protecting trim and sealing wheels.

Fantastic product and results , bought this product due to the reviews and after using other products by this manufacturer, wasnt disappointed, easy stuff to use once the paintwork is prepped and cleaned correctly first , went on and off rather easy on a cold car , used a slightly damp applicator made it easyer to remove , paintwork came up brilliantly , water dispersal was amazing after rain , only been 2 weeks since I used the product , and car still looks great ,water just rolls off , really impressed so far , works and looks good on all the plastic trims ( Mini cooper) , excellent quality.

Excellent value sealant ... really works well on freshly polished and prepared paint. The beading is amazing ... very tall and regular :-) Good for black trim too ... deepens the colour and provides good protection. My tip is to be sure you don't leave any unbuffed areas (it dries quite hard after five minutes or so) and have quite a few spare clean MF cloths around if your're doing the whole car as the MF's can get a bit grabby after a while using this.

On a well prepared car this is very hydrophobic. A bit of a 'marmite' product on application (I think it may depend on what was on before) but if you go 'fast on - fast off' seems fine and long lasting. Great value if it works for you and worth a punt at this price. Generally, Sonax products function well above their price point.

Really good easy to apply!! Make sure you only do one panel at a time wipe on buff off , do some prep work first a good wash and polish then seal the deal!!!! Great Shine .

Das Polymer Netshield nutze ich seit einiger Zeit und komme immer wieder gerne darauf zurück. Habe einiges an Wachsen und Keramik Versiegelungen verarbeitet, welche für sich genommen in manchen Disziplinen das Polymer Netshield übertrumpfen. Für den Preis gibt es aber einfach kaum ein Lackschutzprodukt, welches so eine gute Leistung zeigt. Einziges Manko ist meiner Meinung nach die Haptik der Oberfläche, die es hinterlässt. Sie wirkt leicht rau, was sich jedoch nur bei direkten Anfassen bemerkbar macht. Auf Schutz oder Glanz hat das aber kein negativen Einfluss. Der Glanz erfährt auch keine besondere Steigerung, so habe ich zumindest den Eindruck. Beide Punkte lassen sich vernachlässigen, wenn man regelmäßig Detailer oder ähnliche Produkte verwendet. Das sind jedoch nur Überlegungen für absolute Pflegefanatiker. Die positiven Aspekte des Produktes sind vor allem die langanhaltende Schutzwirkung auf dem Lack mit einem unfassbar guten Wasserabperlverhalten. Außerdem lässt es sich relativ zügig verarbeiten. Für Ungeübte wird die Auftragsweise, welche ein recht schnelles Abnehmen erfordert etwas ungewöhnlich sein, jedoch ist dies eigentlich ein Vorteil, da das Produkt nicht lange ablüften muss. Bei Fahrzeugen, die ich aufarbeite nutze ich es fast immer als Standard-Lackschutz. Nach stundenlangen Polieren bin ich froh, wenn der finale Auftrag des Lackschutzes verhältnismäßig einfach und schnell geht. Das klappt hier sehr gut. Eine Vorbehandlung mit Isopropanol-Wasser-Gemisch oder dem Sonax Paint Prepare ist grundsätzlich zu Empfehlen. Habe es zum Nachlegen nach ein paar Monaten einfach direkt auf den gewaschenen Lack aufgetragen und keine Einbußen in der Standzeit feststellen können. Das liegt wahrscheinlich am Lösemittelanteil. Die Standzeit ist je nach Lack und Beanspruchung unterschiedlich. Bei manchen Fahrzeugen lässt es nach drei bis vier Monaten nach, in der Regel aber hält es über ein halbes Jahr. Unlackierte Kunststoffe werden gut abgedunkelt und bekommen einen Schutz wie der Lack. Alleine diese Eigenschaft macht es zu einem super Allrounder. Der Brilliant Shine Detailer ist die perfekte Ergänzung dazu, um die Haltbarkeit der Versiegelung immer weiter nach hinten zu schieben. Gemessen am Aufwand für den Auftrag und dem Preis gibt es kaum ein Lackschutzprodukt, welches dem Polymer Netshield das Wasser reichen kann. Daher kann man es uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Utilisez après avoir fait une finition rénovation phares avec des tampons de différents grain acheter sur Amazon. Le résultat est impeccable. Il suffit de l appliquer avec un tissu doux et non pulucheux et de l essayer sans laisser sécher avec un micro fibre de qualité. Il est conseillé par le fabricant 2 couches pour une protection jusqu'à 6 mois, pour ma part vue que c été des phares rénové j'ai appliqué 4 couches avec une séparation de 24 h entre les 2 x 2 couches c est à dire 2 couches puis attente 24h à l abris de la poussière et des éléments naturels puis 2 autres couches, lcela aura surement aucune incidence sur la durée de protection mais c'est juste pour être sûr que c est bien protégé, le résultat est impeccable par contre ne pas laisser sécher après application de la couche essayer aussitôt avec une micro fibre de qualité si non sa colle et sa laisse des traces de même sur la carrosserie et surtout que le support ne soit pas trop chaud si non même problème mais très rapidement pas le temps d essayer et travailler sur de petites surfaces à la fois c'est plus facile et moins risqué d avoir un mauvais résultats.

Realmente buen producto como repelente polímero. Dura unos meses, da el pego para una pintura sin barniz si quitas los restos blanquecinos con cuchilla y paciencia. Mejora el aspecto sin milagro
