I was looking for a book with general prayers in as I am to lead services (C of E). This has very good prayers in different subject and I have found it just the job. I did google the title before I bought it and a site showing an extact came up showing the types of prayers and sample prayers.

this book give's my wife and I a new perspective when preparing prayers in church on a Sunday. It has a good content and the prayers are laid out in a easily readable maner.

Fantastic range of topics from a wide range of sources. A good mix of formal and informal; icludes material easily understandable without over religious language. Sensitive and gentle on difficult topics. I keep this in my bag now for any eventuality. Only drw-back is small print - but if it were larger it would not be portable. Very good value.

A really useful and lovely book with prayers for most moods and occasions. Recently made an elder in the Church of Scotland and I have no doubt this will prove very useful in carrying out my duties. Anyone vaguely Christian would get a lot out of this publication - highly recommend it.

Use it every day. Poetical, relevant, inspirational. Funny, makes the presence of Jesus Christ very real and he is closer now than ever. I wake up smiling and go to sleep laughing. He is my best friend and this book helped me through a move and a difficult time, when I was taken to hospital, having inhaled gas when I was asleep for 6 hours. I`m up and recovered and very glad to be alive.

Valuable resource book for those in ministry.

An excellent resource for personal or public use. So many lovely prayers, lots of variety and a delight to keep finding new prayers.

Praying is the most important action we can engage to gain God’s guidance. I love the variety and depth of these prayers. They help me focus and reflect.

I find it a valuable resource to open and use in devotions. Its awesome to pray what others prayed many years ago!

I use it in my pastoral care visit's and both I and the recipients love it.

I absolutely love this book. It essentially is a bundle of awesome, Holy Spirit lead prayers that express ginuine hearts of people to Papa. The prayers are split up into categories by genre whether it be prayers about health, protection, recentering, etc...they all display a great heart and longing for God. There many anonymous authors' writings as well as well known Christians and non famous Christians. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a deeper relationship with God that find it hard to articulate it for themselves. Also, for people who just love seeing His body express their love to Him in the beautiful way of prayer.
