General Pencil Compressed Charcoal Sticks 4/Pkg, Multicoloured, 0.63 x 7.23 x 13.97 cm

These charcoal sticks are very much like chalk, but less dustier. They appear to contain a binder which make them a little harder than chalk and much better for drawing with. I don't think they are charcoal (the company calls them charcoal) but when I contacted General's they would not disclose what these sticks were were actually made from. I would say they are chalk with a binder. Overall, very pleased....great for drawing on black paper and adding highlights to graphite drawings

These arrived broken in an opened packet so some were missing which was disappointing. The quality of the actual charcoal is good and I am pleased with the results.
