Excellent
I am so delighted to have discovered this balm. I'd been using beeswax creams for a while, but I think the mixture of beeswax and other oils in this Ultra Bee cream makes it really special. Superbly and very deeply moisturising, a little goes a really long way. I'm using on my heels, any patches of dry skin, my hands and my face. I love the way it makes my skin feel, and the biggest bonus (well apart from the fact it's completely free from synthetic or artificial ingredients like colouring, preservatives, lanolin, or petroleum derivatives!) is the divine smell! I'm a sucker for anything with patchouli in. Apart from the wonderful aroma, patchouli oil is used in traditional Asian medicine to treat skin and hair problems, like dermatitis, eczema, acne, and dry chapped skin. It also has wound healing and scar reducing properties, so is a great ingredient for a face balm. Ultra Bee, please never stop making this, OK!

Lovely Anti Aging moisturiser.
This is a great moisturiser with a lovely light scent. Leaves my skin soft and siljy. Has even reduced a wrinkle or two slightly so really pleased about that. 😌

Cannot get enough of this balm! But price mysteriously risen by £8 in recent weeks though :(
I have been using this balm for just over one month, and I purchased after my own homemade efforts of making ‘bee balms’ were not so good. The results are amazing. My skin is much softer, clearer and lines and pores do appear smoother. It has somehow managed to make my skin look how I have always wanted it to look without make-up. When looking in the mirror in the morning after applying before bed, my skin actually looks healthy and clear for the first time EVER. Although it’s a balm (in melted form it looks quite oily) it is quickly absorbed into the skin and is the perfect make-up base – and seems to hold my make-up together for longer during the day. It doesn’t leave an oily shiny residue as I thought it would, which is more than I can say for 99% of the store bought creams I have been wasting my money on all these years! I will say though, use sparingly as you only need a little bit. I apply after general cleanse and before rosewater/witch hazel toner. I would recommend to anyone and will definitely buying again.... However really disappionted to see that this item has almost doubled in price in just a couple of weeks.

A pungent, oily mess which looks and feels terrible.
Unfortunately this is one of the worst products I’ve ever tried on my face. The smell is absolutely awful, I could barely stand it, however I’d have been willing to put up with that if the product were good. It comes hard like Vaseline but once you rub it it quickly turns slick and oily. There is absolutely no way you can wear this underneath makeup. It leaves your skin looking oily but not in a nice dewy way, and it ruins the make up so skin looks terrible. I tried it with different primers too, and also tried blotting the excess, but it made no difference. (For reference my skin is dry to normal.) I figured okay, I’ll just use it at night time, but as soon as I’d rubbed it in I couldn’t bear how greasy my skin felt, it was so very annoying. It made my skin look terrible whilst wearing it. It also rubbed off on the pillowcases. I was using a very modest amount too. Again I tried to blot it, as well as splash with water to get rid of the excess but then most of the product was removed and obviously not giving me any benefit. Then I found out one of the main ingredients is a pufa and this is not what I personally want to use on my skin to help ageing. So all in all this purchase was a deep regret, I wasted a lot of money as I bought another similar item too.

Buy Buy Buy! But Don't Buy It All....
Oh my... I don't really do beauty product reviews. In fact, I don't really do beauty products - not any that cost serious money (and for me, £12 IS serious money to spend on a beauty product). Probably the last time I spent anything near approaching this amount, was when Jackie magazine recommended a terribly bright blue eyeliner every girl needed... circa 1985. I digress... I have been suffering for a while from very itchy, red, bumpy skin around my eyes (always attractive)... perhaps a delayed reaction to that dastardly eyeliner? I also achieved bags under my eyes that would make Deputy Dawg weep... and let's face it, at the grand old age of 42, things have suddenly started to go awry. Like all things to do with aging, this is never a gradual process - more a rapid decline in a matter of days. Faced with the prospect of looking ninety by June, I decided to take action. Dr Google informed me that I might have all manner of facial funguses and irreversible aging, as well as gout, mange and a fair dose of excema/psoriasis... etc... etc... In actual fact, my real Doctor assures me that I am having some sort of extreme hayfever/dust allergy. With this in mind, I searched on Amazon for 'natural eye balm', and this came up. Let's face it, the labelling didn't give me much hope of a cure for my ills. Very 'naive'... very 1985. I bought it on that basis, as I am an 80s girl after all. I was not prepared however for the result of my actions. It arrived... I applied... and now I am a hopeless Ultra Bee addict. Within less than 24 hours, the redness around my eyes went completely. My skin has been called 'dewy' by a colleague at work - unprompted. I have never been called 'dewy' in my life... and to get a compliment from a colleague at an IT company is a thing of myth and legend. I have had it a week, and the improvement in my skin is nothing short of a miracle. As a result of this though, I have two problems: 1) Can I implore Ultra Health to give me written warning if they ever decide to discontinue it? I will have to fly over and buy your remaining stocks. 2) Can you do a litre tin size - preferably with a paint roller, so that I can apply it to my entire body? PS. I forgot to mention the smell... It reminds me of two things. Firstly, the faint whiff of patchouli in it transports me back to the 'indie kid' bedrooms of my youth. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing... Secondly, did anyone else buy the Carrot facial oil that Body Shop used to sell, some twenty years ago? I LOVED that stuff...(it probably was the last time my skin looked 'dewy') - it smells like that too. PPS. I forgot to mention that one of the reasons behind my enthusiasm is that most other creams and lotions induce allergic reactions in me. Clarins brings me out in actual welts (always good when you have had to practically re-mortgage your home to buy it)... another reason behind my reluctance to spend money on face creams.

Not For Sensitive Faces!
Lovely soft balm-like substance which smells great. It's meant for the face but all of the essential oils in this seem to bring me up in red patches every time I use it so I've been using it as a hand moisturiser instead and it seems to be ok for them.
