Is 10.8v (mean) the same as 12v (max)? Marketing bluff?

The batteries at both voltages are fully interchangeable with all the 10.8v/12v tools you will just get more power from 12v.

Looking for confirmation this battery will work with bosch professional 10.8 v series of tools, specifically the gsb drill?

Hi yes this will work with the professional 10.8v drills. It is a little heavier than the 2ah batteries and I would recommend careful use with high vibration tools, such as hammer drills. This is because the locating tabs are no thicker than the smaller batteries and I have known them break off. I have this battery and especially use it on the 10.8v circular saw where it works very well. Hope this helps, happy diy ing.

Is this a genuine Bosch battery

I have had no issues with this battery and although I could not be 100% sure (as I am no expert on counterfeit goods), it looks identical to originals that come with new devices. I bares the embossed serial number that you would expect from a genuine. I am happy with mine so I hope that helps?
