Fast, easy and works!
I had a webcam for Zoom, but it didn’t support Windows Hello facial recognition. After considering several options, I chose this one - reasonable price and same-day delivery—and I’m very happy I did. Setup was quick and easy, and it works perfectly as a secure login passkey. It also doubles as a regular webcam, allowing me to replace my older Logitech camera. The multiple mounting options and extra-long cable made positioning it simple.

A great choice for a camera with a good quality image and frame rate.
This may not be the camera for everyone. It's not 4K and it's not 60fps. However, if you're a Windows PC user, and you want a basic high-quality camera for Windows Hello and light video conferencing use, this is absolutely a fantastic choice. The camera works absolutely fantastic with good lighting. You don't need fancy ring lights to light you for the camera to work well. It offers a wide angle, maybe a bit too wide, but using the available software you can zoom that in if necessary. I haven't tested the microphones, though maybe I will do that this week to ensure they work will enough. The mics are suggested to work within 40" of users, so while this works for someone in an office setting, it may not be ideal for all settings. That said, I have two other microphone options if I need better options. The one thing to keep in mind, enabling the auto shutter is done by holding the finger on the Nexigo label on the camera for a few seconds. By default, the auto shutter is not enabled. So, it will work with Windows Hello just fine but not work with any other apps. Let me just say, as it functions with Windows Hello it is just absolutely fantastic! I rebooted my system after an update and didn't even realize it already logged me in until I went to sign-in. It just popped up for me. I tried using a fingerprint scanner, but because it's not included in the mouse or keyboard I had, it was clumsy. I had to find it, then swipe it, and depending on if it wanted to work or not, then it would let me in. It didn't always work, so I ended up getting rid of it. With the camera, it's effortless. I sit down and it scans me. The shutter barely even opens before it closes again and it's logging me in. It's awesome!

NexiGo HelloCam works great!
Camera resolution is as good as you would expect for 1080p and at this price point. I didn't load their app to customize the camera settings. So, with the default camera settings my lighting is very good. I have a window behind me to my right and my old camera would always leave my face dark until i moved over a bunch to my left and adjusted the camera to match (away from the window). With the NexiGo I can just stay put with the window in the background - the my face looks very good. I love the automatic shutter. I get it that some want a manual override, but, so far it is closing the camera as I would want it to. I bought this cam to 1) upgrade my resolution (yeah, my old one was old and bad!), and 2) to use Windows Hello. The Windows Hello function works great! I use a laptop that utilizes a port replicator/docking station. The camera did not work through the port replicator. I called tech support and waited for an extremely long time, maybe 30 minutes? Anyway, once connected i got an immediate solution: "Plug in directly to the laptop". I had to reboot a couple of times. But that did the trick. I give two thumbs up to their tech support knowledge. I haven't tested out the camera microphones. I would recommend this cam for anyone looking at this price point.

Excellent Web Camera
I purchased this Hello Camera back in November of 2022. I always wait for a period of time before I leave a review so as to put it through it's paces, figuring out it's functions, what I like and don't like, etc. So here goes: I am completely impressed with this camera. It is truly plug and play, works with Skype, Facetime, Skype flawlessly. Is true 1080P. Works with Windows and iOS platforms with no problems. The overall construction of it is solid. It has a bit of weight to it so as to not slide around easily when seated atop a monitor. It can be rotated 360 degrees, up and down, and can be attached to a camera or phone tripod or use the footing with the camera for virtually any positional location you may need. The only limit to position is the length of the USB cord. I really like the automatic lens shutter. It opens when the camera is in use, closes when not. Every person that I have contacted while using this camera has said the clarity is excellent as well as the sound, as the camera has dual microphones. I do use the camera with a personal mic setup with others as I collaborate with other musicians. But in no way do I think the dual mics are not sufficient for home use. I've used the camera seated atop my monitor, on a camera tripod, phone/gopro tripod, and set on my computer desktop. The IR lens is great as it auto adjusts the picture in any light condition. It also quite compact, which I really like. Now for dislikes: Compared to my previous camera it cannot be tilted left or right. It can only be rotated 360 degrees, and up/down. So if you have some leveling issues you will need to find a way to fix that. Unfortunately I had to use some folded paper under it to help level the picture. While it is of solid construction, I cannot recommend it be placed on top of a laptop monitor. When I did that, it would hop across the top or fall off from typing. If used just for a meeting or call it would work just fine. But be mindful if you want to use your keyboard while using the camera as it could vibrate off and vibration from typing will translate to the picture and sound as well. Also, it has a fixed focus. Meaning it doesn't have zoom or withdraw or fine focus features. Some other webcams in their line do that. Tension on the USB cable can be a little bit of a pain. What I mean is if the camera is positioned in such a way that it is close to the end of the cable length it has a tendency to turn the camera and make you appear like you're "creeping" out of frame. it may be due to the pivot point on this camera, but my N60 did not do that. I do wish that within the camera software there be a way for the end user to adjust the size/frame of the video picture. So I can adjust myself from 16:9 to 4:3, etc. I have only found it has to be done in another app. If there is a way, I haven't found it yet. So to sum up, most of my dislikes are just a personal preference and a fraction are of the camera itself. I really am impressed with this camera and absolutely recommend it. For what you get in the camera it has a fantastic price! I was very surprised by that. I wish that Amazon would let us give 1/2 stars as I give this camera a solid 4.5 stars. My dislikes are what has me taking a half star away. NexiGo will be my go-to camera manufacturer from now on. I've told all my family and friends if they have any need for a webcam, or any of their other products, to give them a try. And I recommend you do the same!

Fantastic value!
This camera had no business being this good, yet here we are. Video quality is sharp and clean for 1080p. Not “marketing 1080p,” but actually looks good on calls and recordings. The Windows Hello feature is the real star. Plug it in, Windows sees it instantly, face scan done, no drivers, no software circus, no reboot rituals. It just works, which in 2026 is apparently a luxury feature. The automatic privacy shutter is excellent. It physically closes when the camera is not in use, none of that fake software-only “trust us bro” privacy. You can see it close. You can hear it snap shut. Very reassuring in a world full of glowing laptop eyes. Microphone is perfectly fine for calls. Not podcast-grade, but clear and usable, which is the job. Facial enhancement is subtle and doesn’t turn you into a wax figure, so points for restraint. What really annoyed me is that this is every bit as good as a Logitech webcam I paid about $50 more for at work. Same usability, same practical quality, minus the brand tax. Build quality feels solid, not flimsy bargain-bin plastic. Bottom line: excellent camera, stupidly easy setup, rock-solid Windows Hello, real privacy shutter, and strong value for the money. Pleasantly surprised, mildly irritated I overpaid elsewhere. The only complaint I have is that it attached to a monitor like every other webcam, with the dumb triangle posture mount that doesn't really work well at all, but it's as well executed as any other. As far as portability, it's plug and play so you can't get much better than that. If you need it for business and windows hello, buy it, you won't regret the purchase.

Junk
Works great for windows hello. Works in Ubuntu 24. Can't get the 1080 setting to work properly yet in windows but works fine in Linux. There are options for 2 lower quality settings as back up. The automatic shutter is a bad feature. It's possible to accidently lock it and there is not an indicator. This will cause problems trying to log in with windows hello so I advise not messing with the shutter lock. Seems like something to break vs simple manual operation. The 2nd windows hello camera does not even have a shutter. This camera was the best choice among a lame field of contenders. Video quality is fair. My phone is better. Seems overpriced but all cameras with windows hello feature require a premium as of April 2025. UPDATE: As of 5/11 I have returned this product to Amazon. Maybe I received a defective one, but after after working 'ok' for about 10 days this thing went haywire on me. The shutter began not opening half of the time. I would open the Nexigo software and go to 'preview' and while the software reported 30FPS the screen was black. Same thing would happen with Windows Hello. I would go to set-up windows Hello and the IR camera light would be on and the software would be telling me to center my face, but the main camera shutter would be closed and the screen dark. This affected Windows Hello's accuracy and it began not working on boot. The shutter lock was verified to not be engaged. Actually, engaging the lock and then manually undoing the lock would lead to the the shutter automatically opening half of the time. Nothing but weird behavior from this thing. I reinstalled the software, switched USB ports, reconfigured Windows Hello, but no luck. There is no way to manually open the shutter as it is behind glass. I bought this thing to make my life easier. Not Harder. I was never able to get 1080P resolution to properly display in the Nexigo software on Windows either. I purchased mine at $50. At $70 this thin is a waste of money even if it works properly.

Good Upgrade from older Nexigo Webcam
Nexigo Hello came was purchased to replace an older Nexigo webcam. This camera was attached to a docking station and used for office video conferencing (MS Teams and Zoom). You may need to update the computer's camera anti-flickering setting to optimize video quality. This can be found on the Video Conference App's Video Setting. Upgrades: 1. Facial Recognition - since my laptop connects to a docking station, if I wanted to use facial recognition I would have to dock and then open my laptop and use its integrated camera first. With the new Hello Cam, I was able to dock and power on directly - then authenticate directly using the Hello Cam. 2. Camera clarity and wider field of displace - certainly an upgrade from my laptop's integrated cam and better than existing Nexigo cam 3. Very easy to install - just connect to the docking station and turned on the laptop. Installation took less than 3 minutes during first bootup. 4. Audio Quality - much improved on the Hello Cam. I'm able to use laptop audit output and the Hello Cam microphone as input. Now I'm able to video conference without dedicated headset Downside (potential) - The longevity of the red privacy shutter. It shuts off the camera each time the camera is switched off. Not sure how long the shutters would last since the shutter goes on-off about 20+ times during a work day. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Great quality and fast Windows Hello logins
An excellent low cost, no fuss, surprising good quality and very fast Windows Hello webcam. I used to always buy only Logitech webcams, but they totally dropped the ball when their latest 4k webcam doesn't even support Windows 11 Hello (which is a major part of windows and passkey biometric passwords and logins) and their last Windows Hello webcam is 4 years old and has driver support issues that are unlikely to be updated. I highly recommend this webcam. It does all you need and more at under half the price of an out of date, no windows hello logitech model.

I really like this camera
I have clipped this camera to the monitor of my W11 PC and plugged it into a USB port. The Nexigo installed itself quickly & I went through the procedure to enable Hello face recognition which took about 2 minutes. No extra software installation required. When I open a video camera related piece of software the Nexigo automatically activates, during boot up of the PC the lens opens at the correct moment to enable Windows Hello to log me on with face recognition, then shuts again once done. The camera has an audible click as the lens opens and shuts and a clear visual indication, as the the lens shows red when shut, and clicks black when open. So far it's worked flawlessly, all the features work and are good quality & I'm very impressed! I purchased this when it was discounted and it's an easy 5 stars.
