Great piece of kit
I wasn't sure if this was going to be any good but was pleasantly suprised. Although you construct it yourself,it is by no measn rickety or ustable, it is solid and well built. It goes up and down in a jiffy and feels sturdy on the door. It doesn't seem to hand off the top of the door frame as i expected, but rather redirects the weight into the front of the door frame (...some kind of physics i suspect!). Also, given that you can hang off it and put in on the floor, you can do far more than the 4 exercise shown in the video. Here is a brief list i worked out you can do on it in the few hours I have had it: On door frame: All variations of pull up (I can think of around 8, probably more), chin ups, hanging L-sits, hanging L-sit pull ups, knees to elbows, feet to hands, variations on front levers, ...probs lots others, check out bodyweight websites. On Floor/hooked behind door: Push ups (either on round bars or wide bar), dips (but really these are a waste of time as it is too low so do these on chairs), sit-ups (all variations), Leg raises (lying on back holding bar hooked on bottom of door behing head), L-sits etc, but most importantly you now have a set of paralell bars to practice variations on tuck and straddle plauches, planche push-ups, handstands, handstand push-ups, again many more. The only problem is that it is not fixed (although also one of its strenghts, in that you can take it up an down in seconds). As it is not fixed you cannot really use it for any kipping, so only strict form works here. not really a problem as strict form is great for strength and if your into crossfit type workouts, I'm sure you've found bars for kipping somewhere else. I think this is a great bit of kit and would help anyone starting out with bodyweight exercises, would suit anyone taking up Pavels "grease-the-groove" approach where you need to do your exercises all throughout the day and don't live in a gym.

Worth buying
I bought this to do pull-ups however my walls are slightly skewed which means I cannot use it for its intended purpose. It hooks onto one frame slightly but feels very risky, I managed 2 before it slipped and brought half of the paintwork with it. I'm 6'2 and my full stretch reaches the bar from having my knees on the ground, anyone taller may struggle. My solution to use this properly will be to screw a piece of wood into the door frame to give more support for the top pivot but that's not ideal. The product itself is not the Iron Gym brand which is definitely misleading. I would probably opt for the cheaper one because of this, that being said it feels decent quality. The top bar is horrible cheap plastic but I assume that's so it doesn't wreck your door frame. The metal bars feel good, time will tell how the foam grips fare, I'm guessing they'll tear with extensive use however. My current use for it is as a push-up aid. It really does offer excellent support for this. The range of motion it allows is ideal, I'd take this over standard hand to the floor push-ups any day of the week. They feel so much more natural using this equipment. Perhaps my 3* review is a little harsh as I've not really used it properly due to my own household circumstances. From the few pullups that I managed the actual metal framework felt sturdy. Just make sure you have a suitable door frame before buying, i.e. one with a definite solid ridge on the hinge side. I also knocked my rating down due to being slightly misled about the brand of product that I was buying, not that it matters too much, I just don't like it when companies do that. Overall I think this product is worth buying for the press up function alone, they really do feel excellent. If you have a door frame that will suit it then buying this is a no brainer, just be warned that it might not work as intended. Edit: I've drilled a wooden support into my door frame and this thing works great. I've upped my review from 3 to 4 stars, felt a little mean leaving it as middle of the range.

Excellent product, although one has to be careful on door fittings
This product is good, and I use it at Uni a lot to replace free weights. Fitting on a door can be a bit tricky and not all doors do the trick unfortunately. This meant that I had to use the main door leading to the Halls, but in a weird way, it turned out good because it meant people saw me and wanted to try to and it became a kind off a community thing. The pull ups is the best bit, you really feel it working, and I have slowly progressed to 15 pull ups on all three positions and 5 one handed with wrist support pull ups after 3 weeks of training in one set. I also use it for push ups, which is great because it hurts the wrist less than a normal floor push up. Also the varied positions encourage me to try different push ups. I actually also do use the dips, because of its compact size, and people have been giving it a hard time, but it is affective because the fairly restricted movements ensure that you don't lose form and allows a intense work out. I hardly ever use the sit up function, but it does its job well. Only criticism, you do have to actually have a door fitting that works, but when it does work, it works like a charm. Shame i bought it after a discount. Stay classy, and now, finely tuned too with this product, my friend even bought one herself. JL

Good product you can hang it across the door by just fitting at wooden block at one side of door and then you can hang it from other side. Good durable and worth product and you can do many exercises from this. It's definitely better than simple bars plus less expensive.
