Great fun toy, nephew keeps putting eggs under lamps to get another dinosaur now

This was a really realistic large egg. Took a while to begin to crack so helped it along by using warm water. It took almost 3 days to hatch with the excitement building each time the cracks got bigger. Grand-daughter loved it. The only down side was the dinosaur inside was hard plastic and a bit slimey but once it dried out was OK. The best bit is definitely waiting for it to hatch but my grand-daughter still has the shell and often puts other dinos in pretending to wait for them to hatch so I would recommend this toy.

It was a good gimic gift which our 2.5 Yr old loved watching grow and transform. Disappointingly the egg split in the middle along the manufacturing seam so it didn't really hatch so much as pop out like a kinder egg toy, however leaving it in it's water for the next 10 days or so really let it grow and left us with a slightly faded dinosaur which is less spongey than expected. Didn't expect anything amazing, let down by the split rather than an actual hatch, but there's a happy little girl with a new dinosaur "pet" now time to see if it shrinks back down and can grow again?

Did not hold the attention of the grandchild.

I got two of these for my Granddaughter 4th birthday. She was so excited when she opened them. Her 6year old brother was so jealous but she said he could have one and she the other. They rang me to tell me they were waiting for the Dino to hatch.. They loved I Definitely worth the price and nice size for a four and six years old hands. Love the colours.

I originally brought these in a shop in Brighton and the kids loved them so I decided to get them sombre more, and when they arrived, the kids were so pleased. ALL eggs arrived in perfect condition and on time too. You get what you pay for, the dinosaurs are not massive (as they are not meant to be) but the fact you put them in water, watch the egg break and see the dinosaur grow is what they loved. Perfect gift as a little treat.

My 3 year old was learning about dinosaurs at nursery so I bought this to hatch over a weekend, he was really excited and loved watching it hatch, it took about 4 days before I removed it and we pulled away the egg shell, which is quite thick so doesn't really crack open, more swells up and falls off! But on the whole a good buy and my son was delighted to take it to nursery to show everyone, you are left with a foamy toy which can be played with when dry but not very robust obviously due to the material.

Nos ha gustado mucho, el huevo se va rompiendo poco a poco de forma muy realista, cada mañana era una sorpresa ver la evolución. Al cabo de 4 días sacamos el dino que ya estaba casi fuera y lo tenemos en agua para que siga creciendo. Lo recomiendo.

Está muy bien, buen tamaño y el dino que ha salido es bonito, pero después de 5 días en remojo, no salió solo, tuvimos que sacarle.
