Excellent trousers!
I purchased three pairs of these 15 months ago, and have worn them in 'wear and wash' rotation every single day since. They are extremely comfortable, they wash well and are very tough. They are made to last. My one slight issue is that the pocket lining material isn't as tough as the rest of the trousers and carrying keys or loose change will wear them out after some time. Other than that, they are perfect. I will definitely be getting more.

Extremely reliable
My ONLY negative point about these pants is more of a personal problem that I have with all pants. I have short but big legs, so around the thigh and rear area, pants are always tight on me. I did expect them to provide a bit more room in that regard, but maybe my huge butt is the problem, not the pants. Other than that, the quality is amazing. I've owned a lot of tactical clothing over the years and the material feels absolutely solid. I put them to the test every single day and they're showing no signs of failing on me, even with my demanding junk in the trunk. So for the price, I can't imagine you'd be disappointed.

Very comfortable, practical and hard wearing trousers - still good after 7 years
I've just bought my second pair of Taclite Pro trousers, this review will focus however on the 1st pair I bought about 7 years ago, as far as I can tell the new trousers are essentially the same construction and design as the old ones. The first pair I bought are one of the two most comfortable pairs of trousers I own (the other being the similar but heavier 5.11 Tactical Pants), to the point that they're my preferred choice if I ever get the chance of a day of slobbing around the house. After 7 years there is a little visible wear, mainly fraying around the back of the ankles and as you'd expect for something that's had well over 100 washes they are now dark grey rather than black. The beltloops and pockets are all still intact too.

Perfect for security work
Way better than the rubbish combats I was given at work, plenty of pockets and very comfortable. My only gripe is that they're a bit baggier than I'd have liked. They hold up well in the outdoors too and have plenty of room for all your gear. The back pockets will comfortably fit a radio , I can fit a torch and my Spyderco in the knife pocket and a leatherman in the mobile phone pocket. Great overall

Best combats ever!
I've had cotton 5.11s for years and they are still going strong (although somewhat faded). I'd bought another brand poly/cotton combats for hiking and was very pleased with them and wanted another pair or two, and thought I'd give this version of my cotton 5.11s a whirl. These are really great. Perfect for hot days and rainy days, as they are both 'lite' and dry quickly. With leggings underneath they make excellent winter hiking trousers. There is a good range of pockets. The phone pocket is much bigger now than it used to be, but is probably a little behind size wise for most smartphones these days, but there are plenty of other places to put a phone. They are comfortable, and if anything like their cotton cousins, will be very durable. Long may they continue to be made.

Prefect for work.
Was actually going to return this as it felt a tad bit big. I however missed the deadline to return the item due to work. Came across the trousers buried in my wardrobe and used it at work yesterday. It was perfect and fit ideally for work. Glad I still have it.

Sturdy, comfy, useful
I've been an aircraft mechanic for the past 4 years. The jets I work on require squeezing into small spaces and crouching below the fuselage, and these pants have always allowed me the freedom of movement and comfort that gets me through the day. The tiny front pocket in the forward left was always perfect for putting washers or bolts, or even a mini flashlight. The regular pockets are deep enough for tools. The cargo pockets with Velcro always held screw bags or a beanie when it's cold outside. Whether tearing up the knees working low on concrete, or just regular wear and tear, these pants hold up. The belt loops are wide so they don't easily tear. The mildly stretchy waistband was a blessing when I found myself working night shifts and I gained a little weight from midnight fast food runs. I finally moved on to buying a second pair after starting a new job in the same field, more for appearances than anything, since my old pair is still holding together with only slight rips in the knees. But with a second layer of fabric, even knee-holes haven't stopped these pants from being dependable.

Great Pant
Love these pants. I work outside at a stadium and black is the uniform color. The fit is the same as my Levi’s and all the pockets are very helpful. There is room for long underwear if needed.

The material was not very comfortable and the button broke in the first week
The material was not very comfortable and the button broke in the first week. I do like the pockets though. I wouldn't want to pay as much as I did for what it turned out to be.
