Infant Protective Safety Hat (Blue)

Purchased as Nanny's house has solid floors and after two big bumps action was required before a trip to A&E was required! Fantastic, light weight, not sure about the ears but they can easily be cut off, readily accepted by my energetic 10 month old who is busy crawling, cruising round furniture and generally into everything. He doesn't even seem aware its presence on his head while he's exploring. Did have to reduce size of elastic to reduce helmet size as too big for him. Well worth the money for the piece of mind - heads are just too important to take risks.

This is a fantastic product! My 10 month old grandson is very active and pulls himself up and tries to walk and kept falling and banging his head. This helmet has completely changed his life. He is more confident and there are no tears from banged head. He loves wearing it and it does not make him sweat at all. My daughter raves about it and it has been much admired by other mums.

This product is excellent in theory as it helps protect babies head/skull when they fall or bump into things. I bought it for my baby but unfortunately it didn't last long on his head. He kept yanking it off, even when strapped tightly on his head. I ended up not using it at all. If there is a way to strap it on his head and he is unable to take it off then this will be a great product.

The helmet looks good and feels well made. My only is issue is the way that the chin strap attaches to the helmet means that if the child is inclined to do so they can remove it by pulling it down or back. I suppose you could prevent this be really tightening the chin strap but chocking my child is not really an option. If it were anchored in two places on each side this would not happen.

Love it, no really was a little over the top I thought in purchasing it, however no bumps since its wear. My son 1 and has been walking from 9 mth so is therefore a little clumsy as started early. He like my other son (now 7) is constantly banging his head on things and causing massive lumps/haematomas on the front of his head! Its getting to the point where I am paranoid people are pointing fingers at me which I am sure they are not. He follows his big brother and his 2 cousins (9 and 12) everywhere and wants to be pt of what they are doing, so now I feel more relaxed as the helmet does work and it is very cute on his head. He only has it on when playing out or in the house/relatives to prevent bumps. its easy to wear and moulds to the head dep on how tight you want it. It does ever so slightly leave a red mark at the sides above the ears but only when worm over a length of time and not overly sweaty on his head (although he has little hair). Some people have laughed and said silly things however my son is now bruise and lump free for over a week, which is all can ask for, so don't care!

I broght a thudguard for my 10 month old son as a final, drastic measure to try and stop him bumping his head! It turned out to be the best thing I ever did! He walked very early ( 9 1/2 months) and wasn't co-ordinated enough and was permanently falling into things, after lots of bruises and 2 visits to the local minor injuries department I was at the end of my teather, then my friend reccommended I try a thudguard and we haven't looked back! His head can get a little bit sweaty if it's warm, however this product is well worth every penny for piece of mind it has been a god send!

Bought it for my 7 mth old. Not a good fit. Waste waste waste. Toddler doesn't wear it. Too late to return I guess. Bloody expensive.

Fantastic. My son has severe haemophila A and I had resisted a helmet but I'm glad I changed my mind. My son is learning to walk and the independence thus has given him is fab as I'm not as bad following him around incase he falls. He's had a few tumbles and his head has been well protected. The helmets are so cute compared to what was available when my nephew was a baby. Really love this item :-)

Juste parfais pour mon bébé de 11 mois apprenti ..protège bien la tête seul bémol ne pas le laisser trop longtemps car bébé transpire et le mettre à l envers (dessin fluo derriere)sinon bébé l à dans les yeux .

We spent months baby proofing our house but nothing prepares you for a fall backwards and since we have wood and tile floors that made matters worse. Plus, between chairs, tables and benches nothing could be done to prevent our child from banging or hitting his head. I looked online and found a few options but chose this one after reading the information. No it will not stop your child from major incidents but for minor ones falling backwards while sitting loosing his grip after standing up or banging into objects we are very satisfied with how the product has protected his head . FYI... still always monitor your baby this is not a full proof solution and does not replace good parenting.....but it will help alot.

This is very big and may be used for teenagers ... a waste product I purchased.. don't buy.. and tying this to kids is a challenge too. No return of product , so never take this.. don't waste money..

Der Helm bietet einen guten Schutz für das Baby. Der Nachteil ist nur, dass das Baby ganz viel schwitzt. Nach max. 30 Minuten sollte man eine Pause machen und die Haare trocknen.

No lo he usado aun ya que mi bebe es aun muy pequeño, pero mis sobrinas usaron uno idéntico hace un par de años y me encanto, es muy practico y es muy ajustable en cuando al tamaño de la cabeza del bebe, asi que lo puedes usar en un gran rango de edad sin problema.
