Buy Saga Volume 7 (SAGA TP) Illustrated by Vaughan, Brian K, Staples, Fiona (ISBN: 9781534300606) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Saga saga - A great sci fi comic. So glad they have re-started the series. Great writing and great images. Review: The War for Phang - I love everything about this series; it's a hallucinogenic intergalactic epic of a plot, accompanied by beautiful sci-fi artwork, and yet it incorporates so many 'real world' issues (like all the best sci-fi). Vaughan's portrayal of dirty politics, war, racism, and the complexities of love and loss is so powerful - more so in this volume than in any other - and yet still contains moments of comedy and lightness. The inclusivity and representation is also second to none (take note, DC and Marvel - this is how you do it). I still buy comics from the 'big guns' of publishing (G. Willow Wilson's Ms Marvel is a particular favourite), but the one series that has me pre-ordering the next volume every time is Saga. I'm 31 years old and unashamed to say that this instalment reduced me to tears - beautifully done!

Saga: Vol. 7
Hazel and her family are reunited, but a problem with their ship sees them forced to land on the ice comet, Phang, which is on a collision course with a timesuck. Izabel offers to scout for fuel, but her ghostly existence is ended by The March, a vicious Freelancer. Some truly gut punching stuff here, with an end to the volume which is truly heart wrenching.

this is hands down my favourite ongoing series of all time, well written with relatable characters and stunning artwork, this book keeps getting better and pulls you into the story more with each chapter - this volume in particular really tugged at my heartstrings.

Great read.
Love these stories as they are so unreal. I love that they are so unlike mainstream stories that I have read before.

This is the best current graphic novel series out there
This is the best current graphic novel series out there, bar none, brilliantly written and beautifully drawn and inked, just be aware these are adult themes

not since Y The Last Man have I enjoyed an ongoing series quite like this one
I always await the new volume of Saga with unbridled glee, not since Y The Last Man have I enjoyed an ongoing series quite like this one. Vaughan's portrayal of parenthood can be stark and seem like an unwinnable battle at times but he punctuates his writing with moments of optimism and witty writing that stops it feeling too bleak. The artwork is fantastic and Fiona Staples is one of Canadian comics hidden treasures.

A great addition to this amazing series
A great addition to this amazing series. A lot sadder and darker than some of the other issues but in my opinion it just adds to the amazing world Vaughan has created!

This series just keeps getting better. Art and story is some of the best with a unique cast of brilliantly written characters. Can't wait for the next volume.

That was amazing! Saga proves once again an incredibile series capable of keeping the reader attached to its pages frame after frame. I can't stop wishing more of it, can't wait for the next volume! The ending left me speechless.

At the face-value, SAGA is a space opera of cosmic proportions...a Star-Wars-grade richly imagined epic fantasy that lies just outside the restricted world of human possibility. Yet, everything it is underneath the skin is very human, every bit from the untapped well of human imagination along with all the good and bad that make the cogs that turn our world, a measure to heaven and an equal measure to hell...in effect, keeping it all here in a bizarre equilibrium by some divine plan beyond the reach of our understanding. My journey with SAGA thus far has been, to say the least, a rollercoaster ride stripped of all fabric, full of sound and fury, though immense in significance. Kudos to the formidable team of Vaughan and Staples for bringing the bare bones of humanity alive, unapologetically, in such vivid shades drawn from a palette that dares to stretch its spectrum beyond confines of the average homo sapien mind. Vol #7 takes up arms against the oppressed and the chased once again, to create a series of unfortunate events for a family on the run, reluctant allies as well as sworn adversaries. Every corner you turn silently screaming, trying to warn you to not get emotionally attached. Dreams and nightmares get a shade weirder every volume. As our band of misfits make their way through Sophie's comet, they realize their ordeals are far from over. Hold on to your seatbelts...this ride is about to get a whole lot wilder!
