The stands fits perfectly between the rubber feet on the bottom of the speakers, and feel nice and secure, plus the weight of the speakers falls under the max weight of 6lbs specified for the S2s. Theres a bit of flex in the stands when you touch the top of speakers but that's to be expected with using speakers this size. They remain completely steady when in use. These stands do an equally great job of decoupling the speaker from the desk and the 4cm upward tilt makes a significant audible improvement to this near field setup! The foam spacers isolate nicely but also allow the speaker stands to glide and reposition easily which I found to be a surprisingly nice bonus feature.
