My garage opener rope ripped while trying to open the garage so I purchased this. It was very easy to install and fit perfectly in the slot where the previously ripped rope was. I opened and closed the garage manually several times and the rope was strong enough to hold the garage door. I don't know anything about garage doors but the house is fairly new so I'm not sure if this rope is suitable for all doors. Hope this helps.

Easy to install, great strong rope and comfortable easy to pull handle. Not sure what I'll do wit the extra two but the price was excellent for one, let alone 3.
