Good quality, great for pork pies.
Well made, very sturdy and good non stick coating. Better than the usual cheap tins. I use mine for generous sized pork pies and they are great for that purpose.

Good cake tin
Bought this cake tin to bake a mini mousse cake for a friend. However, after pouring the mousse mixture in the cake tin, I accidentally lift the base up with my thumb when I shifted the tin to another counter. Hence, the mousse mixture began to leak. I wouldn't say it's the tin's fault but because of my own carelessness. Nevertheless, be very careful with the base as a slight move can cause the mixture to leak easily.

This is a sturdy little cake tin. Solid. I use it at least once a year when I make my husband his diabetic cake. I make a smaller one for an elderly lady I know, and it is just enough for her. I also used it to make the top tier of my brothers wedding cake. A good little bit of kit in my tin collection.

Ideal for low calorie small cakes
My wife and I usually make cakes far to big for the two of us now the children have left home, and we both tend towards greedy. It is lovely to have found this small cake tin and to be able to enjoy occasional cakes but have fewer calories whilst doing so, which means fewer potential pounds added to the waist because of those second helpings on too many Sunday afternoons! As far as recipes go I would recommend experimenting with approximately half or just less than the half the usual recipe quantities for cakes, aiming at creating effectively 4 restaurant/cafe size slices (cut crossways like thick bread), as it is relatively quite deep and also cook for 10 minutes less than a given recipe states. Although it is expensive for the size, being quite small, think extra large pork pie size in the shops. The quality is really excellent, non stick, quality thick steel, it will last for ever. A previous reviewer mentioned sharp edges, there are none on mine anywhere. Recommended!

The best tins for the best pork pies.
I bought these four pork pie tins to supplement three other (discontinued) tins of the same make that I bought from Lakeland some time back. Seven pork pie tins might seem over the top for domestic use but, since there are no pork butchers' shops in Sweden, I have to make my own. The recipe for pork pies that comes with the tins is adequate but nowhere as good as my own recipe which I would enter into competitions if I lived in England. I bake seven pork pies at a time, eat one; keep one in the fridge for use over the next week-or-so; and freeze (very successfully) the other five. I shall have a session making another batch later this week. For anyone interested: the magic ratio of seasoning is 2% of the total weight of pork in salt; 0·2% of the weight of the pork in both pepper and sage. I use equal amounts of pork shoulder and belly. Half the shoulder is cut into 6mm dice and the rest is minced along with the belly. The pork is then mixed and seasoned and kept covered in the fridge for two days (to partially cure) before use. I then use Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's unimprovable hot-water crust as the pie base. Split pig's trotters, chicken stock, peppercorns and an onion are boiled for the jelly. The pie tins stop the pies from sagging as they bake. Try it and see: you'll not be disappointed.

Die Formen von Masterclass sind meine neuen Lieblingsformen! Durch den lösen Boden lässt sich der Kuchen super einfach und schnell nach dem Backen aus der Form nehmen. Praktisch ist auch der Rand, der etwas höher als bei normalen Springformen ist, denn da ich häufig Torten mit mehreren Ebenen backe, kann ich hiermit meist noch eine Lage mehr backen. Die Reinigung klappt der Form geht ebenfalls einfach und schnell. Ich bin begeistert!

I like the individual size, 4 inches, there is nothing I do not like about this. I love the size I love the way it's cooked food-I love the way the bottom comes out easily when bringing out the pie,it was just perfect easy to clean certainly gets five stars from me!!!! definitely would recommend masterclass product This order was my 3rd and wow the price went up. Seems higher at $22 a small run but they are great fio individual cakes-pies and obviously chic pies.

Wunderbare Form, sehr gute Antihaft-Eigenschaften und hervorragend zu reinigen. Besonders praktisch finde ich den Hebeboden. Das Loch im Boden ist nützlich, um zu verhindern, dass in der Form beim Backen ein anderer Luftdruck entsteht, und sich der Kuchen schlechter lösen ließe. Ich bin absolut zufrieden mit der Backform, und werde meine nächsten Formen auch von masterclass kaufen.
