Organic Sprouting Mix 1kg (BWFO)

These are great and I will reorder. Really nice blend, quick to grow, almost no duds at all and they taste good. Forgive me for being blunt but my bathroom habits have quickly improved too. I didn’t expect that to be honest.

I bought these back in the summer and ended up with so many sprouted beans. Some reviews said some of the beans didn't sprout, but i didn't find this to be the case. All the beans sprouted, maybe at different times and a few days a part, but they all sprouted. I used the sprouting jars. After several attempts I realise 1.5 table spoons of beans will fill a sprouting jar within a week or two. Perfect for salads. I look forward to growing these again next year.

Overall, very good, but I’ve noticed that the mung beans don’t sprout. I separated them and left them for one week, and they still didn’t sprout, which makes me think the batch might be old.

Feel a bit mean leaving a poor review, as I suspect liking or disliking a sprouting mix is quite a personal thing. I usually get the Verdant Republic mix, and after my experience with this lot, will be going back to them! This blend gave me the most awful stomach cramps followed by diarrhoea, which has persisted for days. I think they smell a bit odd while they are sprouting, too. However, it might just be my digestion they don’t suit!

Good mix of sprouting seeds however the aduki beans will not make a move so I have picked them all out of the supply. It’s worth knowing each one has a different growth rate so all in at a time some are at best before others . Aduki haven’t moved over 5 /6 days .
