Replacement for the bulb that came with my oven. Which has lasted for the last 6 years. Time will tell how long this one will last. But at least I got 3 of em. Hopefully its lifespan is at least 6 years. Fit was fine went I with no issues, seems to be good quality, usually Philips is a brand you can trust.

Bought for a cannon cooker oven replacement light bulb. Easy to fit and worked perfectly and arrived quickly. Very good price.

Does the job!

A set of 3 x 25w small edison screw fit lamps. So, I needed to replace a lamp in my oven. Why bother with no name slightly cheaper types, when for a few pennies more, you can buy Philips originals. The lamps are marked with all the correct information as all genuine Philips lamps would be. Putting it on the meter, you can see it is pulling 26w, (the bottom left reading in the photo). I've included a photo of it in my oven, where it replaced an original 15w lamp. There is absolutely no problem in swapping an existing 15w for a more powerful 25w in any oven. However, if you should use them in any other appliance (I also have one in a lava lamp.) Then make sure you do not exceed the stated maximum wattage. In an oven, it's never going to be a problem, but, in something like a decorative lamp, if you exceed the wattage you could find that over time you scorch, or even melt the fixture. Some people have commented on lamps being 'blown' when they arrive. What they actually mean is that the filament has broken. Unfortunately due to the nature of a 25w incandescent lamp, the filament is always going to be delicate. So, there is a chance it could break in transit. I recommend that when you receive the lamps, you test all 3 to make sure the filaments are intact and all is well. I hope you found this review helpful.

Good value, easy to fit and provides great light in the oven.

This is the third time I've had a bulb blow in my cooker. The first time it happened I found these replacement bulbs on Amazon and found them completely satisfactory. Hence this order. This time I've ordered three so that I've got spares. Phillips is a world class company and a name you can rely on. Highly recommended.

Our oven has been in the dark lately, impossible to check how things are cooking without opening the oven door. The problem doing that is you quickly lose heat that can be detrimental to baking. For any sort of oven that can reach over 220 degrees C it is essential to use a proper high temperature rated bulb. It is therefore reassuring these Philips bulbs are rated at above 300 degrees C. The bulb is an E14 screw fitting (14mm diameter) and is rated at 25W (240V). Light output is warm white, 172 lumens. A trusted brand and brilliant value for 3 individually boxed bulbs. For our oven it was very easy to replace the burnt bulb, just unscrew a thick glass lens from the inside rear then unscrew the old bulb. Inserting the new bulb was a reverse of the same procedure. The previous same brand bulb lasted about 3 years. As always in high temperature applications, it's a good idea to first clean the glass of the new bulb with a bit of Isopropyl alcohol and then use some kitchen towel to insert it so as not to touch the glass. This prevents any oils from your fingers heating up on the bulb glass surface and possibly leading to premature failure.

Build are okay as they go, but one blew within a week of fitting it...

E' incredibile quanta robaccia ci sia in vendita per le cose di uso comune. E questa cosa si verifica anche nei negozi fisici, in uno dei quali avevo acquistato una lampadina sostitutiva pagata a caro prezzo e durata un annetto, invece dei molti anni di quella originale. Quelle ordinate qui su Amazon sembrano ben fatte (la robaccia si vede subito) e le confezioni della Philips sembrano originali, ma credo che si debba prestare particolare attenzione alla scelta del venditore. Nel mio caso era Lichtspiel UG. Se ci saranno novità aggiornerò la recensione.
