I will only purchase my utility blades from him from now on.EDIT 1:on my routine daily use, one black ceramic blade lasted for more than 4 weeks before replacing, as opposed to a standard 10 cent utility blade that normally lasts me 3 days. Given the convenience of not having to replace blades as frequently, how the blade does not tarnish, and how the black ceramic hides the imperfections gained from usage, they are worth it to me.They are so good, that I had NexLand create a sample of a serrated version. Now, this is the only black ceramic serrated utility blade too! Excited to see if he will decide to produce and carry them. Serrated blades always last much longer than straight blades at the cost of precision.Original Review:AMAZING!There are several white ceramic utility blades available nowadays, however this appears to be the ONLY manufacturer of BLACK ceramic utility blades. They are flawless,straight blades (they better be, at $3 each), and are actually sharper than my Lenox Gold blades.Black ceramic is approx. 2X~ "stronger" than white ceramic, while white ceramic is approx. "11x~ stronger than steel", so these blades should last a very long time. There are no markings or stampings on either side of the blade, and has a nice brushed finish.My intended use case is an EDC Utility knife to pocket everyday, so i wanted a blade that didn't rust from all my hand oils, that stayed sharp for a long time, and didn't look cheap (The Lenox Gold blades look terrrrrrible after only 48 hours in the pocket)One of the six blades did arrive with a chipped edge, as seen in the last photo, but I contacted and was quickly refunded for the single blade. Satisfied! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent, but specialized use, blade *by E***T on March 14, 2025* For the use I got these for (cutting the plastic wrapper of pool chlorine tablets) these are excellent. They are extremely sharp, they go right through the plastic, and they do not corrode the way steel blades do. They also work very well for cutting plastic sheet or film or paper. But, when using these, you have to follow certain procedures--you have to use they with a cutting board or cut through to a smooth moderately hard cutting surface, and you cannot use a lot of pressure on them, they are brittle. They are a specialized blade for certain uses and you have to keep this in mind ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing upgrade for my Z-knife. *by M***S on October 14, 2023* Picked these blades up because I wanted something that would not rust and is super sharp for my Z-knife. For those who don't know a Z-knife is used while SCUBA diving to cut lines away if you get fouled up in them. Sadly while the screws are stainless steel in my Z-knife and the body is plastic the blade rusts to pieces. So far I love these blades and after cleaning up my Z-knife it fit in place perfectly.Now for the bad thing about the blades. While they are super sharp and will stay that way a long time they can not be tweaked. Ceramic is very hard and brittle. In a Z-knife that is not a problem since the blade is well protected and line is pulled into the blade. In a regular blade holder you can not twist the blade at all as it will chip or snap ruining the blade.
