Mine did arrive in a box that had obviously been dropped, and the was some crumpling of the base of the spine, but desertcart were brilliant in making it right. Very happy to own this. Beautifully put together in every way
Such a fantastic book, visually stunning with a plethora of really well curated illustrations. I was expecting the text to be illegible based on other reviews here, but to my pleasant surprise it’s fine. Fabulous!
I have really only dipped in and out of this so far but it is such a wonderful book to simply hold. I'm rationing my indulgence in it and am aware just how magnificently illustrated and generally put together it is.

Exhaustivo con respecto al trato de la muerte en culturas y tiempos, con una edición cuidadísima tanto en textos, fotografías y mimo en el mismo libro es una gozada de libro de cabecera o de consulta. Me parecía caro por no saber muy bien cómo era; después de ojearlo me parece barato a este precio. Si lo hubiera visto en una libreria no me hubiera extrañado que se vendiera a 50 o 60 euros ♥
