Really good stuff
Bought this for my wife as she’s the trombonist, she’d been struggling with a sticky slide and just wasn’t happy with her playing, after digging around some forums for options this was recommended by a large number in the thread. Since cleaning her slide thoroughly and using this combination product she says it’s the best it’s ever been, and her confidence in her playing has increased. Happy wife, happy life 🤣

Handy for trumpets as well as trombones
I recently acquired a vintage trumpet and found the third valve tuning was quite stiff. I'd managed to almost free it but it still had too much resistance for smooth playing and valve oil or slide grease didn't completely solve it. I happened to see a video on the internet which recommended this product and it worked, the slide moves easily enough now. I definitely recommend it for use on trumpet 3rd valve slides.

Ideal for the modern trombone.👍
I have used this product before and it is one of the best I have used. It's ideal for the modern trombone slides,but I only have an old trombone now and it is not as good for it. That is not any fault of the lubricant,it's the slides on the old trombone are not good enough. I do recommend it thought.

Very good for the price and works as it should. The smaller bottle for your pocket is very handy.

As good slide lubricant as a trombone can get.
I was introduced to this product by a fellow trombonist and I bought this product about 4 years ago and the first one still has not run out! - so don't be put off by the price. It is a 2 part system - and you do need to follow the instructions to get the best results. Also from time to time it is good to give the slide a really good clean and start from fresh - one of the other reviewers has mentioned that it can get a bit sticky over time.

Does the job
It does the job and is the same consistency as the previous Slide-O-Mix I had. Using it to play trombone in a wind orchestra and big band.

Great stuff to fix a sticky slide
This was recommended by my daughter’s trombone teacher and it works remarkably well! The consistency looks rather er… interesting but it turned a rather ‘gritty’ slide into one that glides with ease!

Well proven product
I have used this stiff for years on my, now, 40 year old Conn 8H. Slide is as good as new and very easy to use
