I bought this walking stick for my husband as he fell off our pagoda roof, he was fixing due to storm damage and broke his foot. The fracture doctor didn't want him walking/limping on it. So he didn't let him have any crutches. So how he was supposed to get around the house, we dont know. So thats when i ordered this stick. It looks very nice and is strong. Husband is 12 stone. It comes with a picture to invert the stick and cut it to size. Top tip, my husband boiled the kettle and made a cuppa and put the plug in the sink,than poured boiling/hot water into the sink. He than submerged the rubber tip of stick in for a minute (rubber expands when warm). Than it came straight off. Than he cut the stick to size (see the picture, that comes with it) Than put the rubber back in hot water for another minute before pushing it back onto the stick. Its a lovely stick and will last years! My husband has got very fond of it now and will be keeping it. I cant wait until his foot is better and he can go back to work. Overall very pleased with this walking stick.

Relatively light, traditional cane in natural wood. The scorching breaks up the otherwise plain look nicely, and gives a rustic look to it. It comes with a sturdy ferrule in good quality rubber. The cane is long enough, that I at 193cm needed to cut 3cm off to get it to the proper length. I'm giving mine an extra layer of satin varnish, to withstand wear and the scandinavian weather.

Excellent walking stick . The company were extremely helpful when I requested certain features when choosing a stick to send to me. I would highly recommend both the walking stick and the supplier.

I bought 2 sticks (different styles) but this was the better of the two. Comes at a decent length that is easy to cut to size, and was very solid with little give. For those that don't know, the normal recommended length is that from your wrist joint to the floor when in your normal walking shoes. I normally turn the stick upside down, ensuring it is correctly upright and mark the base of the stick at base of thumb level and cut there.

Great walking stick at an unbeatable price. Firstly, I am 6' foot tall and 14 stone so needed a strong product. I have a range of country sticks, but needed one that looks OK in town. I also have one in metal with adjustable height with a straight bar handle which is not as comfortable to grip or hold. This wooden, traditional curved handle is both easy to hold and grip either forward or in reverse hold for leaning with weight applied. It is light, but sturdy. I cut 2" off the end (after removing rubber ferule ! ) to a 36" length which is a general standard. Ferule re-fitted. A stick is also a companion and comfort. This one is often taken where a thumbstick and canes are not as practical for steady assistance and where especially useful if standing for several minutes or longer. Remarkably good value and recommended.
