I thought I'd try these because I have birds outside my window that decide they want to sing the song of their people incredibly loud at 4am. Unfortunately, these weren't good enough to stop that racket, but as general ear protection say from like rain or something quieter these are quite good. You can still talk to someone and hear them perfectly clearly.
