I recently picked up the Chef Aid Non-Stick 2lb Loaf Tin (900g Rectangular Bread Pan) and it’s quickly become my favourite bread-baking tin. The non-stick coating really works — my loaves release cleanly every time without any tearing or sticking, even when I’m in a rush and forget to grease it properly. The size is perfect for a standard 2lb loaf, and it bakes evenly from edge to centre, giving a nicely browned crust without any burnt edges. The tin feels well-made and sturdy, with solid walls that don’t warp in the oven. I’ve also used it for meatloaf and pound cakes, and it performs just as well for those. Cleaning is straightforward too — a quick soak and wipe, and it’s ready for the next bake. It’s a simple kitchen tool, but it does its job very reliably. If you bake bread at home regularly, this loaf tin is practical, durable, and makes baking easier overall. Highly recommend!

Perfect size loaf tin at a decent price. I used greaseproof paper and my loaf came out really well. Highly recommend and considering buying another one!

Good, but smaller than I expected

I just switched air fryers, having had one which needed round liners and pans, previously. The new one is more traditional in shape with double rectangular drawers so there's been the necessity to kit myself out with new pans to use in it. It seemed to me that these loaf tins would be ideal for cooking quite a lot of food items and, being just slightly smaller in dimension than many 2lb loaf tins, are a great fit. They come as a pack of two and seem very durable and strong on first viewing. Their capacity is 900g. They are non-stick which is ideal but can also be lined with foil, silicone or paper liners if desired. Unlike many silicone liners they have no handles to help lift them out, but they are rigid which is an advantage over silicone pans which are a nuisance to remove from the drawers if you are cooking anything with liquids. For their first use today, I actually stood ceramic ramekins in one of them and used those to make individual Yorkshire puds and that worked out really well. I think these pans will suggest new uses to me as I begin to use them more. Great value for money too. I'm glad I chose them.

This loaf tin is great quality and works perfectly for baking. It heats evenly, releases easily, and gives a lovely shape every time. It feels sturdy and well-made, and it’s easy to clean after use. A simple, reliable baking essential that I’m really happy with 😊🍰

Werkte de eerste keer heel goed. Daarna werd het stapsgewijs snel minder en bleef het baksel plakken in de vorm, zelfs na eerst extra invetten. Bij ongeveer de 6e keer bakken, op maar 190 Celsius, ontstonden er twee zwarte vlekken in de coating op de bodem Na schoonmaken met een borstel bleek de coating onder die zwarte vlekken al verdwenen (zwarte kleur coating verdwenen, zilverachtige kleur van blank metaal ervoor in de plaats). Lijkt aantrekkelijk door lage prijs en een gemiddeld niet heel slechte waardering, misschien door recensies na 1 of 2 keer gebruiken. Maar hoewel het product met mooie vormgeving wordt gepresenteerd is het uiteindelijk gewoon goedkope rommel. Bij kopen bij Amazon reken ik ook een beetje op selectie van kwaliteit door Amazon zelf. Dat moet ik dus niet meer doen.
